mini gift box video tutorial

Hello! I wanted to share how I created this cute little gift box! I LOVE kraft!! Kraft anything..paper, paper bags...boxes. For this project I used polka dot stamps, white ink, crochet thread and a kraft box (which btw are cheap!). Again I apologize for the lighting and quality....I'm a low tech gal and I'm going to need help from Mr. Hubby to whip my videos into shape so please bare with me! :)


For this box below I used gold ink which looks so much prettier in real life!!
A while back I made these two pears (our of Fimo) for a friend and put them in a box I made....wouldn't this be a sweet surprise for someone who is getting married....have their initials on the pears and stamp on the inside of the lid 'perfect pear'!!

xmas mini kit

Hello friends!

Here are a few sneak peeks of this Christmas mini kit I created for someone...I embellished the front so she can get an idea of what she can do....I'm pretty sure she's never scrapped before.


I stamped the blue cardstock with our Holiday Patterns stamp set.


It's the Season stamp set & SRM stickers!


And I finally de-hoarded my Cosmo Cricket pp!! I so love this set! :)




I stamped polka dots on the pocket using our Doodle Flowers stamp set.


I stamped the poinsettia flower onto the red cardstock (for a tone on tone look) which is from our Vintage Christmas stamp set.


There are a few more details here and there that I didn't photograph but you get the idea!

Anyways...have a great day....I don't know about where you are but here in Zagreb it's one of those greyish days....I miss the sun!

mini pear & xmas goodies

Hello and happy Monday!!

I've got some goodies to share...first is this mini pear in a box project....I made the pear out of fimo and stamped the heart using the smallest heart stamp from our Home Sweet Home stamp set.


I stamped the box using the polka dots border stamp from our Doodle Flowers stamp set. I stitched a heart on the lid of the box.


To hide the stitching under the lid I cut out a square and stamped the sentiment and leaf (from our Doodle Flowers stamp set).








 

I'm also creating lots of packaging/wrapping goodies for Christmas....I used several Jane's Doodles stamps to create theses patterns (Patterns for him, Doodle Flowers, It's the Season, Holiday Patterns).

Christmas tree advent calendar

Hi!
Hope you all are doing well....I had my workshop yesterday at NB Hobby & Art (a local hobby store in Zagreb where you can find Jane's Doodles stamps! )


I had a great time although I'm not very good speaking infront of a crowd...I'm very shy....on to the project I created for the workshop....I created an advent calendar and I decided to created little embellishments with lots of layers and details. I used the following stamp sets: It's the Season, Patterns for Him, Holiday Patterns and Doodle Flowers...all background stamps except for the single star stamp from It's the Season that I used to stamp on the little gift box embellishent (#4, 14 and 21).


The candy cane I made using fimo and glitter....I had a few kids give them a lick (and realize they weren't real)! :) For most of the numbers I used SRM stickers the rest are die cuts.


I had to take the photo outside...we're having gloomy weather lately....so miss the sun!




I've added a few stamp sets in my Etsy shop so perhaps if you're in Croatia or close by take a peek! :)

sugar skulls

Hi!

How are ya'll?!!
Remember these...Dia de los Muerto...sugar skulls...I had soooo much fun making them!! I decided to use them as tags for treat bags for my son's teachers in day care. We don't celebrate Halloween here in Croatia but tomorrow is Svi sveti (all saints day) or Dan mrtvi (Day of the dead)...it's a holiday...and similar to Dia de los Muerto we visit our family members/friends who have passed away at their graves and light candles and bring flowers.


I filled these white paper bags (which I stamped using the chevron pattern from our Patterns for Him stamp set) with yummy caramels...sorry about the photo...I took it in the morning and the lighting was bad.


So some of us (who were able to get Friday off) have a long weekend! yay!! Lots to do...visiting with family, painting my daughters room...PINK thank you very much....top secret Jane's Doodles stuff! :)

Hi!
I've got some June birthdays coming up so I decided to dress up a simple kraft box (I got this box at NB Hobby&Art).



I stamped the box (and the blue paper and leaf) with the polka dots from my Doodle Flowers and our Patterns for Him. For the flower I just hand cut several flowers, 'roughed' them up a bit..showed them whos boss....and added a big button to the center. I used the tree stamp I carved out of an eraser (go here to check that out) to create my woodgrain pattern on the kraft cardstock.

Jane's Doodles & NB Hobby

Hi!

I'm very excited to say that you can find some Jane's Doodles stamp at my favourite craft shop in Zagreb...NB Hobby & Art!! I went down to the shop and demonstrating some stamping techniques and projects with a group of lovely ladies and this little canvas is one of them....


I used my Home Sweet Home stamp set to create this little scene (the heart stamp is from you're a hoot! stamp set)......



One problem with this project......should I keep the houses or the cute little owl....how cute is he all alone on that hill!! :)



Anyways I'm sooo exhausted...I'm afraid I was horrible (with the demonstrating...I was so nervous and shy...) but I did have fun and my girl Tea was so helpful! :)

altered notebook

Hi!
Poppin' in to share a little project I did.


I altered this notebook I bought at my favourite craft shop in Zagreb - NB Hobby & Art! I am so thrilled that finally I can find lots of crafty materials and not have to order everything on line! :)



I paper pieced my owl (from my you're a hoot! stamp set)...I also stamped some clouds from my Home Sweet Home stamp set..can you see them? :) I also stamped some polka dots onto the book cover.


I think this project would make a sweet little gift! :)

Altered Moleskine notebook

Hi!
I added these altered Moleskine notebooks to my Etsy shop...they are stamped/hand drawn and coloured in with markers...I'm working on some others that are hand drawn and painted....did I say I love notebooks!! Speaking of notebooks I'm giving one away here!




Here's a little info about Moleskine.... "Moleskine is the heir of the legendary notebook used for the past two centuries by great artists and thinkers, including Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Ernest Hemingway and Bruce Chatwin."
