My pro stitcher was finally installed and I am learning by doing. These are not perfect but very useable and will be perfect for quilty hug quilts.  Meastro was my assistant and gave me the thumbs up.

She is a beauty.  Maestro is the model inspector.  As soon as it was in the floor she was on it trying to cover herself.  I kind of yelled at her to stop.  Her look says "who me"?

I made a back for this top this morning before breakfast (pancakes and eggs).  Then after breakfast, quilted it with a gentle swirl.  The back is fun using odd blocks from the orphan bag which by the way need to be sewn up.  How did it get so full?

I attached the last regular row onto Liz and Bills quilt top yesterday.  This picture is a teaser for Liz as she will not see it until it is done.  This is a good representation of the fabrics and colors.  

Lately I have been trying to tame a big bag of scraps.  It's 80% reduced now and I have put it away as I am ready for something different.  

I thought I had enough blocks but I didn't. So more nine patches are needed. I am making this queen size and it will have borders of some kind. I'm thinking pieced hearts.


Frog Quilter

I started making blocks yesterday for the Celtic Solstice Quilt. As of late this morning I completed all the blocks with four patches and spiky stars and a few of the pin wheel blocks. I need to finish the pin wheels blocks and then I can start assembling the top.

Lucy is a block magnet as soon as they are on the floor.











Maestro had to get involved as she didn't want to miss out.





Shortly after these pictures were taken, my blocks were re-arranged willy nilly.

Frog Quilter

Maestro my photo assistant tonight. I have forty something chevrons completed and no doubt I will be finished by Friday for the next clue.
