Thank You For Being Kind!



This is my card for our September swap for my local stamp store called Polka Dots.  The theme is Monochromatic!  I picked a newer stamp that I am not sure I have used yet from Pretty Pink Posh called Simple Sayings-Kind. I then cut out the sentiment and the layer from my My Favorite Things-MFT Stitched Corner Tag Rectangles.  The background paper is from Stampin' Up's Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper Pack. I added a strip of Tranquil Tide Mini Ruffled Ribbon under the die cuts and some greenish enamel dots to complete the monochromatic look!

Glory Bee



This is my card for our April swap for my local stamp store called Polka Dots.  The theme is Your Choice!  I went with a sweet stamp from Whipper Snapper Designs called Glory Bee. I colored the image with my Copic Sketch Markers. The background paper is We R Memory Keepers Red, White and Blue-Celebration line.  I die cut the star layer with my Gina K Designs Master Layouts 2 and added a layer of blue.  I added some red enamel dots for an embellishment.

Hat-bee Birthday



This is my card for our February swap for my local stamp store called Polka Dots.  The theme is Birthday Cards.  I went with a sweet stamp from Whipper Snapper Designs called Hat-Bee Birthday. I colored the image with my Copic Sketch Markers. I added some Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle on the wings for some shimmer.  The background is embossed with Stampin' Up Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Folder. I added some yellow enamel dots for an embellishment.

A Christmas Blessing


This is my card for our November swap for my local stamp store called Polka Dots.  The theme is Winter or Christmas Cards.  I went with on of my favorite Christmas stamps from Verses called A Christmas Blessing.  I used some fun Designers Series Paper from Stampin' Up called Presents & Pinecones. I added a strip of wide Cherry Cobbler Stitched Edge Grosgrain Ribbon.

Thanksgiving


This is my card for our October swap for my local stamp store called Polka Dots.  The theme is Fall--Halloween or Thanksgiving Cards.  I went with a stamp from one of my favorite lines from Paper Inspirations called Thanksgiving Calligraphy.  I used some fun patterned paper from Carta Bella called Brisk Leaves from the Fall Break line. I added Crushed Curry Bakers twine for a hit of yellow color.

Happy Birthday!


This is my card for our March swap for my local stamp store called Polka Dots.  The theme is Birthday Cards.  I went with a sentiment From Two Lips Stamps, which is the company of Therese, the owner of Polka Dots.  The line of sentiment stamps are funny and even a bit naughty at times.  I laugh out loud at many of them!  I cut the sentiment and added a frame from Stampin' Up's Stitched Rectangle dies.  Then, I layered some retired Designer Series Paper called Sycamore Street for the bright pop of color.  That is one of my favorite sets of patterned paper!

Year of Cheer!


This is my card for our November swap for my local stamp store called Polka Dots.  The theme is Winter or Christmas Cards.  I went with a sentiment in a fun font from Gina K Designs.  I added some retired Stampin' Up Specialty Designer Series Paper called Year of Cheer and added the coordinating gold embellishment.  I layered gold over Cherry Cobbler seam binding for another pop of red!

It's Spring ~ Let's Party


This is my card for a swap at my LSS called Polka Dots. The theme for this round is Spring! I dug out an older Unity stamp for the image and added a sweet Inky Antics sentiment to complete the card. Robin Williams was right--Let's Party!  I also found some great spring gardening patterned paper for the background.

Snow is Glistening


This is my card for a Christmas Card Swap at my LSS called Polka Dots. This card was inspired by another card I made after being inspired by Yvette (YvettesArts on SCS) card found Here!   I posted a similar card on November 26th for our blog group called The Gallery Gazers.  We are to find a card in the SCS gallery to CASE and I loved the one I did, so I made 15 more, with a bit of a variation!


I had fun making this card and I hope that everyone likes it too.  I am sure I will get back some pretty Christmas Cards!

Happy Halloween


This is the card I made for our bi-monthly swap at my local stamp and scrapbook store called Polka Dots, in Mukwonago.  The theme this month is Fall or Halloween. 

I inked up one of my favorite Halloween stamps by Memory Box.  I used Smooch on the spiders and I do not think I have used one of those bottles in a few years.  There is a bit of glimmer on those bugs!
