Carefree Spring and Birthday Vibes

The new challenge at CUT IT UP, for the next two weeks, is "for a baby or child (and remember a diecut)".

Who can remember getting your bike out and riding it for the first time in the Spring? I can !
This birthday card is all about joy, freedom, and celebrating life’s little adventures. I used die cuts to create a playful silhouette of two children riding a bicycle, capturing a moment full of movement and happiness. The soft cloudy sky background adds a dreamy feel, while the grassy border grounds the scene and brings in a fresh, outdoor touch. The simple “Happy Birthday !” sentiment keeps the focus on the design while perfectly tying the whole card together.

*sadly there'll be NO BIKES taken out this weekend in our neck of the woods ! The forecast is calling for another 25 cm of snow ! We don't need it ! Please, Mother Nature, give us Spring !

A Snapshot of Sweetness

Here's my card.

I loved creating this camera-shaped card using my Cricut, and of course, I couldn’t resist featuring my sweet Zoe as the star of the shot ! The design is playful and interactive, with the “lens” opening up to reveal her adorable little face inside.

I used soft pinks and pops of deep pink hearts to give it a loving, cheerful feel—perfect for celebrating those moments we always want to capture. It’s like snapping a photo, but in paper form ! Adding Zoe’s picture made it extra special and personal, turning this card into a keepsake I’ll treasure.

This project is a reminder that the best photos aren’t always taken with a camera—they can be created with a little paper, creativity, and a whole lot of love.

Puddles, Boots & Sweet Thoughts

I created a card.

This cheerful “Rain or Shine” card was such a fun project to put together! I love how it captures both the gloomy and sunny sides of the weather while still feeling warm and uplifting. The layered clouds and bright sun add dimension, while the little raindrops bring in a playful touch. Down below, the colorful rain boots splashing in puddles tie everything together and give the card a cozy, whimsical feel. The sentiment makes it perfect for letting someone know you’re thinking of them no matter the weather—inside or out.
My Rain or Shine card can be found at Cricut Design Space.

Birthday Wishes in Blooming Color

The new challenge at {PIN}SPIRATIONAL is pale pink and pale blue combo.

I created a birthday card.

Soft color blends and a simple design can make such a big impact, and this birthday card is a perfect example of that !

For my card, I let the stunning background take center stage. The dreamy mix of pinks and blues creates a fluid, almost watercolor effect that feels both elegant and playful.

To balance the bold background, I kept the design clean and simple. The “Happy Birthday !” sentiment is framed just enough to stand out without overpowering the rest of the card. I love how it anchors the design while still letting those gorgeous colors shine.

On the side, I added a striped ribbon with a button detail for a touch of texture and dimension. It brings in a bit of softness and ties the whole look together beautifully.

This card is a great reminder that sometimes less really is more—especially when you have a background this pretty doing all the work !

Sweet Treats & Cozy Feet

The April challenge at CHRISTMAS CRAFTS ALL YEAR 'ROUND is "create a Christmas/Holiday project with something that starts with G and/or H".

I created a card with Gingerbread Men on it.

For this card, I wanted to capture that warm, cozy feeling of the holiday season—think fuzzy slippers, sweet treats, and relaxing winter moments. These gingerbread man slippers totally stole my heart! I love how their cheerful little faces bring a playful and whimsical touch to the design.

The layered background with festive patterns adds just the right amount of holiday charm without taking attention away from the main elements. I also added a few candy embellishments for a pop of sparkle and to tie everything together with a “sweet treats” theme.

The soft colors and textures make this card feel extra warm and inviting—perfect for sending a little comfort and joy during the holiday season. And of course, the sentiment Sweet Holiday Wishes felt like the perfect finishing touch!

My Sweet Holidays Gingerbread Men slippers card can be found at Cricut Design Space.

Rustic Elegance for the Holiday Season

For this card, I was inspired by the peaceful beauty of a winter woodland scene. The patterned paper with the graceful deer instantly set a calm and elegant tone, so I kept the design soft and neutral to let it shine.

I added a burlap-style ribbon across the front to bring in a touch of rustic charm and texture—it really gives the card that cozy, handmade feel I love for Christmas projects. The sentiment, “ Wishing you a blessed Christmas felt like the perfect finishing touch, simple and heartfelt.

I love how this card captures a quiet winter night—gentle snowfall, soft colors, and a sense of calm. It’s a reminder that sometimes the most beautiful designs come from letting the paper do the talking and adding just a few thoughtful details.

Sending Smiles & Confidence

I loved putting this card together ! The colorful florals instantly made me smile, and I wanted the design to feel just as uplifting as the sentiment. I loved doodling on it too ! Cards like this are perfect for sending a little encouragement to someone who needs a reminder of how amazing they are.

The sentiment comes from a wonderful motivational bundle at WHITE SPRUCE STUDIO. So many ways this bundle can be used. I printed them all off and have a beautiful set of sentiments to create cards.

A Card Full of Ocean Wishes

The challenge for STAR STAMPZ this month the challenge is "furry friends" or anything goes.

For this card I focused on coloring the sweet stamped image, called Goldfish Fishing. I had fun bringing the little scene to life while matching it with the fish-themed background paper. The playful sentiment, “If wishes were fishes I’d send you the whole ocean” makes this card perfect for sending a smile.

A JOYful Little Reindeer

I'm happy to be a guest designer at GIRLZ CREATIVE CHRISTMAS. The challenge this week is a "shaped card".
My festive shaped card was such a fun project to create! The word JOY takes center stage, with a cute reindeer face forming the letter “O”. His shiny bright red nose and sweet little eyes give the card lots of personality and holiday charm. I placed a couple of snowflakes on the letters to add a touch of Winter sparkle. This card is a playful way to celebrate the joy and warmth of the Christmas season.

Materials: cardstock, Glossy Accent, Stickles glitter

A Trail of Hearts

The new challenge at CUT IT UP is "forever green (green is focus)". Of course, there must be at least one diecut.

For my card I created a clean and simple design using die cuts. The trail of tiny hearts flows across the card and loops into a larger heart, giving the design a fun sense of movement.

I softly inked the green background to add a little depth and make the teal hearts stand out. The sentiment “lucky in love” finishes the card perfectly and keeps the design simple and sweet.

Sometimes a few die-cut elements and a little ink blending are all you need to create a cheerful card that sends a lot of love.

*Materials are all cardstock.

Color Your World Happy

My bright and joyful card is all about embracing color and positivity! The bold patterned paper creates a beautiful tie-dye effect that instantly draws the eye, making it the perfect backdrop for an encouraging sentiment. I added a soft purple ribbon for a touch of texture and dimension, along with a playful happy face charm to give it a bit of personality. The layered sentiment , “Choose to Be Happy”, stands out against the vibrant background, reminding us that happiness can be found in the little things. This design is simple to put together but full of impact thanks to the striking patterned paper and some little details.

The sentiment comes from a wonderful motivational bundle at WHITE SPRUCE STUDIO. So many ways this bundle can be used. I printed them all off and have a beautiful set of sentiments to create cards.

A Cup Full of Irish Luck!

Excited to be the guest designer at LATTES & LAYERS with LAUREL at Coffee Loving Papercrafts.
This month the theme is "coffee/tea/hot chocolate and green".

Here's my second creation.

For this project I made a St. Patrick’s Day mug-shaped card filled with lucky shamrocks. The design was cut with my Cricut and layered to give the clovers a nice dimensional look. I added a sweet little leprechaun embellishment on the front for a fun focal point, along with the sentiment “Happy St. Patrick’s Day!” The bright green cup and cheerful shamrocks make this card perfect for celebrating the luck of the Irish.

My Happy St. Patrick's Day shaped card can be found at Cricut Design Space.
