Hello Spring

Well, it doesn't look or feel like Spring in my neck of the woods !

We got 75 cm of snow on Wednesday and Thursday. (that's almost 30 inches)

Here's what our backyard looks like.

So needless to say I was excited to make this little decoration for my desk. Hurry up Spring !

I used a wooden piece that was given to me. I painted it over and added the design using my Cricut and Cricut vinyl.

Reindeer Ornament

I painted this cutie on canvas paper and added some pipe cleaners for his antlers and his ears were made using foam sheets. I added a coat of mod podge and then twine for the hanger.

My daycare afterschoolers made these as well. They enjoyed it !

Flower Ornament

The new challenge at IF YOU GIVE A CRAFTER A COOKIE... is this pretty flowers picture.

I made a flower ornament. I painted the flower onto a piece of wood. I then mod podged it and added a piece of raffia for the hanger.

Pencil Ornament (Halloween and Other Occasions Crafts)

This is a painting that I did with the children in my daycare afterschool program. We took it step by step and created a painting for our families as a Christmas gift. I painted it too as they followed along, painting their own canvas. It's not a perfect painting but it wasn't meant to be :) It was fun to do, though, with the children!!
