Hello everyone! Welcome to the Scribbles Designs Challenge blog. It continues to be a rather scary time out there but there also seems to finally be a glimmer of hope where many countries are seeing a slow down of cases thanks to all the states of emergency being declared, the many lockdowns and the physical distancing measures put into place. Let's hope that this decline will continue! All of us here at Scribbles Designs hope that you and your families continue to stay safe and healthy!

All bunnies everywhere are hopping in anticipation of spring arriving on March 20th and soon after that, Easter. Whether you observe Easter as a family day, in its connection to the Spring Equinox, or as part of the Christian faith, bunnies are adorable and the perfect ambassador for these celebrations. The rabbit is often associated with spring due to its high reproduction rate, and with both spring and Easter due to its symbolic connection to new life and rebirth--big themes for both these occasions.  The eggs that the Easter Bunny delivers are an ancient symbol of fertility and for Christians, Easter Eggs represent the resurrection of Jesus. 

Therefore, in honour of the beguiling Easter Bunny who will be hopping into many homes on April the 1st, we want your project to have at least one bunny as its focal point. Both Hoppy and B Bunny will be guest judges for this challenge so hop to it and make them proud!

Hello and welcome to the midway point of our current challenge. Here is a refresher of what the theme is all about:

If you look carefully, one can start to see shades of spring popping up around us in many areas of North America. As the snow finally disappears, we start to see the grass turning from shades of brown to green. Additionally, as the trees and flowers start to form buds, hues of pinks, peaches and yellows abound. As the birds and other wildlife return and get ready to welcome new births in their nests and dens, all sorts of colours appear. Yes, spring has finally sprung on this side of the world and our eyes get to feast in the colourful glory. That is why we thought that this time of year would be perfect for a colour challenge. When designing your project this month, be sure that you follow this wonderful palette from Design Seeds. Be sure to use at least THREE of the featured colours and let us know which colours you used in a sentence next to the link up so there isn't any ambiguity as to which ones you've chosen. We look forward to seeing how will you be influenced by the palette!


There are still two weeks left in the challenge and we hope that you will be able to join us here on our spot in blog-land. We have had just seven entries so far this month so we'd really love to see some more of you join in!
