Challenge #123: Favourites (basically anything goes!)

Challenge #123
Your Favourites

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Scribbles Designs Challenge blog. Whether you are new or one of our regulars, we are so thankful that you are here with us on our little spot in blogland. It is the 15th of the month and that means it is time for our next challenge to get started!

If you have joined us here on the challenge blog during any previous month in 2023 or saw our post from earlier today (you can click HERE or scroll back one post to catch up on the details), you will know that this year is Scribble Designs' 10th year in business. Our overall theme has been one of "favourites". For each of our challenges so far this year, one of the team members chose their favourite theme. I figured we'd continue with that trend. So, our theme this challenge is Favourites and here is what you need to know to join us...

*You can choose ONE OR MORE of your FAVOURITES: theme, papers, images, colours, patterns, embellishments; or use a favourite edger, punch, embossing folder, technique, style, etc. For all intents and purposes, it is anything goes.*

Our incredibly talented women are here to share their inspiring creative work featuring projects related to our Favourites theme. We hope that you will enjoy the Scribbles Designs images and the creative direction that ensues. Be certain to visit their blogs so you can find out what their favourites are!

Any questions about the challenge? Please read our Challenge Rules located in the right sidebar.

If you would like to purchase a Scribbles Designs image, please click HERE.

We are happy to provide you with a freebie for participating…

Scribbles Designs is EIGHT!!! Come celebrate by joining Challenge #96-The Power of EIGHT

Scribbles Designs is celebrating its 8th birthday this month!
On January 15, 2013, we had our very first challenge.
Eight years later we're still thriving!

We continue to have two separate teams--a full time team and a part time team.
Sadly though we've lost another person this year, and one continue to be on leave.
As such, our ACTIVE full time team has a total of four members!
While I (Lisa) have been beside Sandy's side since the beginning,
Nick came on just four months later in May of 2013,
and Suze started the following year in Jan. 2014.
Pat, who is currently on a leave of absence, joined us in April of 2016
after being a guest for a three month term.
Helen joined in Jan. of 2018 and Petra came aboard in Jan. of 2019!
Unfortunately, Petra has decided to step down from the team.
Please join us in wishing Petra the absolute best as she goes on to new adventures!

Our part time team which we started in Mar. '18 currently has three members!
Diane Louise, a full time member from March '16-Jan. '19,
joined the part time team in January 2019. Which is also when Janice
a former guest designer, become part of the Inspiration team.
Then, in December 2019, Carol joined our part time team as well.

We continue to have our Monthly Challenges
featuring projects from our full time members,
as well as our Monthly Inspiration Posts
featuring projects from our part time members
and any extra projects made by our full time DT!
We remain dedicated to supporting a number of
other Challenge Blogs through sponsorship!
We also added the Scribbles Designs Gallery
AND a Standout Scribblers Wall of Fame in January 2019!!!

The store has close to 1000 Scribbles Designs images,
with 182 of them being FREEBIES!
The store stays committed to offering Scribble Doodle Designs
(a collaborative effort between Sandy S. & Lisa D.)
and is still home to selling designs by Décosse's Dynamite Doodles as well!

We've accomplished a lot in the last
EIGHT YEARS
and with your continued support, we hope to accomplish much more!!!

If you would like to consider joining the Scribbles Designs Family
we'll be running a DT Call this winter.
If you are interested ahead of time, please leave a comment!

ARE YOU READY?!
Our Birthday Event
STARTS NOW!

Welcome to our 8th year in business! It has been a wonderful eight years and for our celebration this year, we are keeping things simple:
it all revolves around the number EIGHT!

Here is what you need to know to enter
Challenge #96-The Power of EIGHT:
Since we are celebrating our 8th Birthday, you simply need to create a project that has a total of EIGHT ITEMS on it. So for example, your card stock or the base of your project will count as one. Then, each element that you add to it will count as one additional item. For example, your image would could as one item. If you combine images, then each would count as a separate item. Each piece of paper you use (patterned or textured) would count as one item. Each embellishment would count as one item. Each sentiment would count as one as well. If you use something like glitter, it would count as one item overall. Get the idea?  The combinations are endless. The important thing is that you have EIGHT ITEMS IN TOTAL. Even if you prefer to do clean and simple cards, you can easily get to the number eight. If you need some specific examples see the lists below from each DT member. If you need more examples, just ask and I'll be happy to provide you with some further ideas.

Whether you are new or one of our regulars, we are so thankful that you are here with us on our little spot in blogland today and are hopeful that you'll be able to join us for this special challenge. Any questions about the challenge? Please read our Rules located in the right sidebar.

At the end of our 12th challenge of the year (finishing up Jan. 14th, 2020), any project featured on our Wall of Fame will have the opportunity to be chosen as the 2019 Standout Scribbler and will receive $10.00 worth of images from the store (digital papers not included). Each challenge, on a rotating basis one member of the Design Team will choose their favourite project featuring an Scribbles Designs image, in order to determine who the Standout Scribbler for that challenge will be.
