For the background I used a piece of the Memory Box "Brioche" 6x6 design paper. The white frame is the new Memory Box "Honey Blossom Frame" lined with the Memory Box "Debutante Frame" that was embossed with the eBosser "Dainty Dots" embossing folder. The little tag in the lower right side is the smallest of the Spellbinders "Labels 20" dies. In the center is stamped "Hello" from the JustRite "Seeds of Summer" stamp set. The pretty butterfly is new from Memory Box and was created by layering the "Pippi and Isabella Butterflies. The white leaves are from the Cheery Lynn "Build A Flower #2 Embellishments".

The Cheery Lynn "Daisy Strip" has two each of three sizes of daisies. I used all three sizes for each flower. There are four layers of each size in one flower - a total of 12 layers. To give the flower some "contrast" in color, I used two shades of pink card stock - alternating the colors. Each petal was shaped by using the self-closing tweezers from the Flower Tool Kit. The tweezers were placed on the tip and I used my fingers to pinch in the petal. I did lightly mist the flowers using the "Mister" by Ranger which sprays a very thin mist and does not get the card stock overly wet. The card stock needs to be just moist to hold the shape.
After all the petals on each "daisy" were shaped, I layered first a dark pink, then a light pink, using two dark and two light pink flowers, creating four layers of each size. The four largest were place on the bottom, then the middle size stacked on top. The layer of the smallest flowers was pinched up to create a closed center. All these layers created a very pretty, dimensional flower.
You can see how realistic this flower looks in this picture. Don't you love that you can use your flower dies to create so many different types of flowers. I haven't even used this die yet for just a regular daisy. I wonder what else I can come up with this set of dies!
