Vintage Christmas with A Bit More Time To Craft

It's time for a new challenge with us on the

As always, the challenge is Anything Goes.
Three to five random winners are drawn and
each get to choose 3 set of papers from the Paper Pick Tab

There is an ADDED BONUS for visiting the
A Bit More Time To Craft Challenge Blog - Challenge 106
post today, as Lozzy is generously giving away a lovely new digital paper set as a big Thank You to Everyone who visits, comments and enters the challenges throughout the year.  This generous freebie is only available for a short time, so don't forget to head on over and download it before it's gone . . .

Today I have used the Vintage Christmas digital paper by Lozzy at A Bit More Time To CraftIt's the 8th set on the Paper Picks tab HERE and it comes with 10 different designs.
I combined the different papers with some pre-coloured digital stamps and some Christmas sentiments, sizing them to make a set of quick and easy 5" x 5" cards.  The digital stamp is from the Toy Stocking digital stamp set from Jan's Digi Stamps, full details and links below.  The sentiments are from the Silhouette Design Store, full details linked below.  I selected a darker coloured section from each of the papers to re-colour the sentiments to match.  I printed the image panels separately on heavy white cardstock, trimmed them to 5" x 10", scored at 5" then burnished the folds with a bone folder to create a set of 5" x 5" top folding cards.

As you can see, I have done a little mix 'n match with the papers,
images and sentiments.

The paper below is the 9th from the set of 10 in the Vintage Christmas set.
I think this one is my favourite.

The paper below is the 1st from the set of 10 in the Vintage Christmas set.

Allsorts Challenge Blog - Challenge 550 – Inspired By A Song

My song is “Little Christmas Stocking With The Hole In The Toe” and my cards are filled with
Christmas Spirit, just like how Santa “filled the stocking until no more he could pack”.  There
are lots of Christmas songs from It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas to Jingle Bells
that could also be considered too ... so many wonderful voices singing in my mind now.

~~~ distressed baby ~~~
It is always a joyous time to welcome babies into the family.
This card is a 6 x 6" top fold.
I distressed each of the layers (a technique I rarely use)
There is a foam sheet between the cream mat & 1st layer and between the 1st patterned layer & the cluster of smaller layers to give the distressing a little more pop.
Products used for this card include:
  • PION Design Sweet Baby - Pink Forget Me Not 12x12 paper
  • PION Design Sweet Baby - Baby Girl 12x12 paper
  • Kaisercraft Paper Blooms - Dusty Pink
  • Ruby Rock-It Arcadia Trimmings - crochet ribbon
  • Helmar 450 Quick Dry - liquid adhesive to secure all the layers, flowers and ribbon
  • Craft foam sheet
          I have entered my card in the following challenges:
