Treats on Tuesday with Christine - La gâterie du mardi avec Christine

Hi everyone I have a brightly coloured tag with some crackle paste and stamping for you today.

I sprayed the tag with distress oxide inks and heat dried before adding each colour. When it was dry I splattered it with water and a little bleach.

I stamped the hollyhocks and the leaves then coloured them with zig pens. I stamped the script around the edge and stenciled the numbers using a crackle past. I attached the tag to a tag shaped card base.

Treats on Tuesday with Christine - La gâterie du mardi avec Christine

Hi everyone, my card today is a lot of spray inks and a little bleach.

I sprayed the inks on hot press watercolour card and dried it with a heat gun. I put some bleach mixed with water on a piece of kitchen roll and dabbed it over the card to lift the colour. I then splattered water onto the card. The water even though it lifts colour it's a little more subtle.

When I was happy with the colour lifting I stamped the bird and used bleach to remove the colour behind. Once the bleach removed the colour I used a little water water to remove as much of the bleach as possible then dried the image. I watercoloured the bird in the same tones as the background and stamped the little flowers and the sentiment around the bird.

Bird on a Branch

For my card today I pulled a piece of watercolour card from my stash which had been sprayed with Nuance powders. I stamped the Forest Branches along the upper edge in Versafine Clair Shady lane, and stamped the Bird on a Branch in Versafine Clair Nocturn. I used Bleach to remove the colour inside the bird, and then watercoloured the bird using watercolour pencils. I edged the card with a black pen to make it stand out against the white card base.

Inspirational Friday with Mariëtte / L'inspiration du vendredi avec Mariëtte

Playing with the new distress ink color and some lovely Magenta stamps

On water colour paper I sprayed some distress stain and distress oxide ink saltwater taffy and a bit of vintage photo oxide spray and let the colors blend with some spritzes of water. After drying I stamped with the deco pattern stamp with some bleach onto the background. Clean your stamp directly when done.

Stamped the flower with archival black directly onto the colored background and uncolored it with bleach. Than colored it in the colors I wanted. Masked of the flower and stamped the words to live by stamp around it. Did some other stamping in the background in the same color as the background. And finally added the text.

Hi Everyone, it's Christine here with another card using bleach stamping, this time using a solid stamp on a Nuance sprayed background from my stash.

I place the stamp in my stamp positioner and added bleach on kitchen paper pressing it to the stamp a little at a time to create the image. As the bleach removes the image you can see where more is needed. I cleaned the stamp then once the image dried I inked it with Hero Arts Contour Ink. The Contour Ink adds a very subtle colour allowing me to see the image a little more clearly. I used pencils to colour the image and add defining lines to the leaves and berries. I used White Posca pen to add white to the wild flower heads.

For the background I used a flower stamp and Mandala stencil using Hero Arts Unicorn White ink.

The bleach expands the image a little and loses definition as it is absorbed into the water colour paper, but I love the look of the lighter colour almost a glow behind the image.

Treats on Tuesday with Christine - La gâterie du mardi avec Christine

Hi Everyone it's Christine here with a card stamped using bleach and coloured with pencils.

I first sprayed some watercolour card with distress oxide sprays and let it dry. I placed some bleach on a piece of kitchen paper on a plate and used the Sketchy Blossom Trio stamp in my stamp positioner. I dabbed the stamp with the bleach soaked paper and stamped the image, You can see the bleach removing the colour each time you stamp. When I was happy that I had the whole outline I let the image dry.

I coloured the flowers with pencils and randomly stamped the edges with different stamps. To add to the distressed look I rubbed my Versamark pad around the edge of the card and sprinkled Weathered Wood Embossing Glaze over and heat embossed.

You can see the random stamping and the pencil colouring more clearly on this image. The Burst stamp was stamped in Hero Arts White ink the res were stamped in Ranger Archival Potting Soil.
