Treats on Tuesday with Christine - La gâterie du mardi avec Christine

Hi everyone, I have a little fishy scene for you today.

I used a gelli plate to create the background by inking the surface with Distress oxide ink pads, spritzing with water and blending the colours with my finger. The gelli plate causes the inky water to pool in areas giving this pretty background. I stamped the fish using a stamp positioner coloured the them with Posca Glitter pens, and re-stamped to give crisp outlines. I used Nuvo drops (clear) for the bubbles and sprinkled them with holographic glitter before the dried.

BONNE FÊTE DES PÈRES!

Le pochoir de 4 carrés crée une structure qu’il ne reste qu’à décorer. Ce trio de scènes de pêche se découpe très bien et peut donc prendre une forme toute différente. Il est étampé deux fois, une pour un découpage en suivant les cadres, l’autre uniquement pour les sujets du centre : poisson, barque et chapeau.

Chaque scène est coloriée aux crayons et légèrement rehaussée d’aquarelle iridescente pour évoquer le miroitement du poisson ou de l’eau.

Le tout est collé en place, alors que le quatrième carré est étampé d’un souhait. Du marqueur noir encadre le tout.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

The 4-square stencil creates a structure that only remains to be decorated. This trio of fishing scenes can be cut out very well and can therefore take on a completely different form. It is stamped twice, one for a cutout following the frames, the other only for the subjects in the center: fish, boat and hat.

Each scene is colored in pencil and lightly enhanced with iridescent watercolor to evoke the shimmer of fish or water.

Everything is glued in place, while the fourth square is stamped with a wish. Black marker frames everything.

Treats on Tuesday with Christine - La gâterie du mardi avec Christine

Hi Everyone, it's Christine her with a floating Alcohol ink Background which was perfect for these pretty fish. I created a few backgrounds, this one just screamed fish.

I added the ray stencil and Gel medium to the light area and sprinkled sparkly embossing powder over it and heated it.

Ellie's creative Monday / Lundi créatif d'Ellie ....

3 cards and an ATC from one A4 gelliprint ...

Trois cartes et une ATC à partir d'une impression sur gelliplate format A4.

I've used the lollipop stencil on the monoprints

.. I thought they were shells, really!

J'ai utilisé le pochoir sucette sur les monographies .. Je pensais que c'étaient des coquillages, vraiment!

Fish... fish...

Poissons... poissons...

and even more fish...

et encore plus de poissons...

... and a dragonfly on the ATC.

... et une libellule sur une ATC.

I LOVE the distressed look on the monoprints; edges and white space:
.. white spaces are interesting to use in collages like this!!

ATCs Set - Ensembles d'ATC

Shilpa here,

Bonjour, c'est Shilpa aujourd'hui,

I have created this set of ATCs using many Magenta Stamps and Nuance colors.

I started background with adhering old book papers to the surface. On that I applied while gesso. When it dried completely, I sprinkled Nuance colors and spread it with spritzing water on it.

further I stamped texture using Magenta stamps and archival inks.

On another watercolor paper, I stamped flower, bird, fish and honey bee, colored them with Nuance colors. And added them on the surface.

I love these vibrant and versatile Nuance from Magenta.

J'ai créé cet ensemble d'ATC en utilisant beaucoup d'étampes Magenta et de couleurs Nuance.

J'ai travaillé les arrière-plans sur de vieilles pages de livre que j'ai collé sur l'ATC et j'ai appliqué du gesso. Une fois sec, j'ai saupoudré des poudres Nuance et vaporisé de l'eau.

Puis, j'ai étampé la texture en utilisant des étampes Magenta et des encres Archival.

Sur un papier aquarelle, j'ai étampé des fleurs, des oiseaux, des poissons et des abeilles, les colorant avec les couleurs Nuance. Et les a ajoutés à la surface.

J'aime ces Nuance vibrantes et polyvalentes de Magenta.

I feel fishy today ... Je me sens poisson aujourd'hui

...Not me, really ... but I think this fish does!
Can you see the shimmer on the fish? That's from the Art Quest watercolors.
Difficult to capture on the photograph, though.

...Pas vraiment moi... mais je pense que ce poisson fait l'affaire!
Pouvez-vous voir l'effect brillant sur le poisson? J'ai utilisé l'aquarelle de USArt Quest.
Difficile de capturer cet effet sur une photo.
