So, my appt. yesterday didnt go as we had hoped. Turns out that my 1 egg did not develop and I did not ovulate. It was an anovulatory cycle. My body is still off track from the miscarriage in March. You would by now it would straighten itself out by now. Hopefully it's taking it's good old time and getting on track for a baby to stick. The doc said it could be anywhere from 2-3 weeks for my AF to show up. There really was no telling. He said if I dont see AF within 4 weeks to go back to see him for some medications to start it. Im hoping I wont have to resort to that. He didnt think it would since I ovulate on my own, I should get back on track on my own.
Good thing about it all is, Nick will be home for the next try through everything that happens. Im hoping that God will bless us with mulitples for everything that we have been through. hehehehe...I hope he's reading that..LOL!
Not too much else going on. Im working on planting more flowers over the weekend. The military, every summer, gives you a voucher worth 40 bucks to get flowers from certain places. So Nick wants me to get flowers to fill up out front even more. Bu them time Im done, it will be over $100 in flowers all together ( out front and out back ) for him. I cant blame him though. I would want that many too after seeing all sand and dirt for 6 months +. So, I will be spending my weekend doing that.
Then after that, there is only 1 more weekend with out my other half. Can you believe it?
I been keeping busy. Planning and buying things for Nicks party, getting welcome home gifts for him, getting cute outfits for me to wear for him, making lists of things I need to do before he comes home, making lists of things I need and things I need for his party. ( Can you tell Im a list maker? )
Not sure if I have ever mentioned this on my blog before, but, Nick is MAJOR car nerd. He has been since, well...birth basically. He has a 2006 Scion TC that he enjoys hooking up and taking to car shows. He has it supercharged and a whole slew of other things done to it. He has been wanting it painted forever. So a friend of ours, a good friend ( he calls me his adopted daughter ) got Nick hooked up with the funds from Toyota to get it painted. He has the Azure Pearl but he wanted something different done to it. So he picked out black and we got the top half of the car painted for him, and a few other things done to it that he doesnt know about. I just got to bring the car home last week and it looks amazing. I cant post pics cuz he reads my blog. But I CANNOT wait for him to see this. Im so excited about it. The love for his car is going to be a whole new level now!
Nothing much else to really let you in on in the boring life of me. Atleast for now.
I want to thank the NW girls so much for your support. Who knew that complete strangers over the internet could be so much help.
And Tracey..Im saying prayers for you. Hang in there.
Thats all for now.

Very cute idea on the car, I am sure Nick will love it! I would love to see pic's in an email :)
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry this cycle didn't work as planned, but I think you are right about it maybe was meant to be that Nick was there with you. I know that doesn't make it easier...
Yeah on the flowers, we just planted some last night!
I'm sorry this cycle didn't work for you. Hang in there, I really believe it will work for you and you will have your baby(s). And I can't believe he will be home that soon. Wow. I'm very happy for you that you guys will be together on your next cycle. The car sounds great. You will have to post pics after he gets home and has seen it.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry this cycle didn't work out for you!!! I know how much you wanted it. You may be right, it might just be meant that Nick will be home to go through it with you. That will make the time even more special. I am happy for you that he will be home so soon!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea with the car. I would love to see it. Also about the flowers. . . I think it is just the season. Sharon and I just spent all last weekend doing the front yard. Flowers, tress, shrub, pots. This weekend is the back yard. I have to say it does look better. But she just loves the yard work.
