Good morning everyone, hope you're having a good weekend. This Sunday (ie. today) marks the return of challenges over at the
OSAAT Challenge Blog. Which basically means, for me at least, I will finally get my lazy blogging behind back into gear..........on a Sunday at least!
Our sponsor for this weeks challenge is............

So, Christmas is over which means the theme this week, in preparation for that one love filled day in February, is of course............Valentine, or love in general. Maybe you're like me and everyday is filled with romance, chocolates, birds singing in the trees..............yeah, we can dream right! Reality kicked in pretty swiftly then, when I glanced across to the kitchen where the pile of dishes sit in the sink, awaiting my love and attention!
I have, however, poured a whole load of my affection into this weeks DT creation, so here goes...............

Pretty sweet if I say so myself, and I think I will actually save this for my Hubby, as the ribbon has "Be Mine" splashed repeatedly across there..............may rock the boat a little if I hand it to someone else don't ya think?
So, I made a little extra effort this week (being the first challenge of the New Year and all) and made a card and matching 'favour' box. First up, here's a closer look at the card, and then we'll get into the details................
This cute little image from Kelley' Kids, which you can find in the Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps Store, could be yours for free, as it's part of the January collaboration pack, free with any purchase of $10 or more.
I coloured her with a combination of Prisma pencils and Copic markers, then fussy cut around the image, before mounting onto a die cut from a Nestie. The flower was a dollar store find, along with the folded doilies it's attached to. Ribbon is Martha Stewart, and the crochet trim and heart button are from one of my favourite local scrapbook stores....Two Scrapbook Friends. DP's are from the new BoBunny line I picked up last week and cardstock from Bazzil. Think that's everything, other than the fact that I glittered her wings, and most of the hearts are finished with Glossy Accents.
Onto the favour box..........
..............No, I didn't make this solely using my own brain power! I used a template for the box, which I downloaded for free quite some time ago, from Cuddly Buddly Crafts. I used the same image as on the card of course, just enlarged, cropped and printed it in a frame using Word, then cut using my Nestie. Ultrafine glitter and Glossy Accents make an appearance again, along with the same Martha Stewart ribbon. I also used a Martha Stewart border punch on the center band.
I think that's all folks! Hope you like em. If you'd like to check out what the rest of the DT have come up with this week, hop on over to OSAAT and take a look.
I'll be back later with some challenge entries.
Enjoy the rest of your day.
