Introducing... Block Party Love

Happy FriYAY!

I am so excited to share the final product introduction for the January 2026 Release. One, because it's an awesome stamp. But also because it means tomorrow is release day!

Today myself and the Uniko Brand Ambassadors are here to introduce Block Party Love. The next in the Block Party series of stamps which are inspired by the retro Subway Art trend.

You might know I have a love for fonts and images and this is the perfect way to combine both. The Block Party stamps are super popular and are great for creating those quick, mass produceable cards. I hope you love this one as much as I do.

Let's have a look at it in action.

Uniko Birthday Inspiration Through The Years - Part 2

Happy Tuesday.

Welcome to day 2 of the Uniko 13th Birthday Celebrations and part 2 of my Inspiration Through The Years. If you missed part 1 you can catch up HERE

Today I am sharing three cards using a product from 2015, 2016 and 2017. I've then made a new card inspired by the original.

Let's have a look.

Balloon Bash was released in February 2015 and it is a clear stamp set that I designed to stand the test of time. I kept it simple with two simple solid balloon shapes, so confetti style stamps, strings and ribbon. I love how this set can be turned to time again and used with various paper craft trends and techniques as they come and go.

Here's my new card inspired by this original above.

As you can see I kept some things the same. The black card base and striking black balloon, which is hard to tell in the original, but for this I heat embossed with Stardust EP. I fussy cut the balloon and adhered it using foam tape.

For the star confetti I stamped it down the edge of my card in rainbow colours, adding similar bakers twine. I used the Happy Birthday from Floral Vines for my sentiment.

My next card uses Celebrate With Cake, originally released in April 2016. Although this clear stamp set is currently retired, I couldn't resist giving it a little bit of inky love.

I don't think at this point I would re-release this particular stamp set, it is one that I hope to improve and bring a new version of in the future.

Here is my new card using this stamp set.

One thing I am loving with this feature on the blog, is dusting off some older neglected supplies. Not only Uniko stamps, but general craft supplies that have been packed away out of sight.

I used to love using various shaped dies, such as these Lacey Circles from Spellbinders. They add a lovely accent to clean & simple cards without being too distracting from the image. I finished my card with the Happy Birthday from Simply Said which arrived back in stock today.

Lastly for today I dusted off Block Party Birthday

This large block stamp debuted in February 2017. The design was inspired by the Subway Art style and also a design I had done as a freelance designer which I did alongside Uniko when I first started. This design once the license had run its time became Block Party Christmas, this of which released later in October 2017.

I know this clear stamp is currently out of stock, it will return soon. But again, I couldn't resist using it and giving it some love during this celebration.

I kept things simple today with ink blending my background in Sweet Pea, Aqua Sky and Oceanside. I then used my MISTI to stamp the background in the same colours and then heat emboss with WOW! Clear Sparkle EP.

That's all from me today. I hope that you have enjoyed the inspiration today and this little look back at Uniko's past. I will have more to share in this mini series throughout the month.

Feature Friday - PaperCrafter Magazine & FREE Digi Stamps

Happy Friday!

I am delighted to have Uniko featured in PaperCrafter Magazine again in their newest issue that went on sale yesterday.

Now Christmas has passed, we can move on to the season of love! I know, not everyone celebrates Valentine's Day. But in my opinion, we need more LOVE in the world!

If you know Uniko and our products you will recognise one of my signature design styles, Block Party. Inspired by Subway Art I have added to the line with this FREE Digi Stamp. There are more in the downloadable collection available HERE. But I think this one (for me) takes centre stage!

Above is a peek at the cards I have made for the feature. For full instructions, head on over HERE. If you use them I'd love to see. You can either tag @unikoltd on social media or drop me an email!

Have fun!

Introducing... Block Party Summer

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Welcome to Day 3 of the July 2021 Release Product Introductions. Today we have another inspiring blog hop and we are introducing the next addition to the Block Party series, Block Party Summer.

These Block Party stamps originated from my love of Subway Art with the mix of fun trendy fonts and images. With everything in the one large stamp, they make for quick cards. Like others in the series I have added images from other previously released stamps for options in paring & getting the most out of your supplies.

Don't forget to  leave comments along the way. I will be randomly selecting comments left in the lead up to Release Day on 25th July to win Uniko goodies!

Okay, lets get to the good stuff...

Bev

Fun, right?

This stamp just screams summer fun and I think it is so cheery. So much beautiful inspiration from the team, it's definitely made me want an ice cream - haha! This stamp and all that we will be introducing over the next few days will be available for purchase HERE on the website Sunday 25th July at 9am BST.

Be sure to pop back tomorrow for the next of the product introductions.

DT Inspiration - Rainbow Birthdays

Hello there, it's Sarah P here with my May DT Inspiration post and in honour of Bev's BIG birthday month I've gone all out with some rainbow birthday creations.

Having been inspired by the cards Kristina Werner created HERE with their gorgeous inky colours and fun birthday ideas, I wanted to incorporate the previously released Block Party Birthday stamp from Uniko as well as the newly released 'BIG & BOLD Wish' die.

So here goes ... the first 3 using the Block Party stamp in various ways

The rainbow background for this one was created using Zig Clear Brush pens, blending the painted stripes with water. Once dried the Block stamp was stamped with Versamark ink and simply heat embossed in white.

A very similar card but this time the rainbow is on a diagonal and created by blending Distress Oxides before heat embossing the image in white.

Who knew that Distress Oxides could stamp so well...a little trickier than the first 2 cards but fun to create. Once all the coloured stamping was dry I stamped the whole image with Versamark ink before heat embossing in clear embossing powder.

... and last but not least featuring a Cover plate die from Avery Elle with the 'BIG & BOLD Wish' dies and stamp set. Keeping with the rainbow theme I've smeared Distress Oxides around the oval  then kept the sentiment very simple inside. The 'You Are Amazing' sentiment is from the Just Because set.

I hope you've enjoyed my rainbow birthday cards and thank you for stopping by the blog today.

Introducing... Block Party Christmas

YAY!

I'm SO happy that you have stopped by today, as here at Uniko preparations for the October 2017 product release are well underway. We have had all the sneak peeks at the 5 clear stamp sets being released and NOW it is time for the Design Team and I to introduce them to you.

Today, myself and my AWESOME Design Team are introducing the next in the Block Party series, Block Party Christmas...

Just like Block Party Birthday, the stamp is one BIG block, measuring 9.5 x 13 cm and it is a style of Subway Art. You might recognise some images from previously released and now retired clear stamp sets.

For my card I used my MISTI stamping tool and VersaFine Onyx Black ink to stamp the block, I repeated the inking and stamping until I achieved a nice crisp impression. Sometimes with larger stamps like this one, it is hard to get even pressure across the whole stamp and get a clean image first time. With using the MISTI tool the stamped image is kept in place and you can repeatedly stamp and ink up as many times as needed.

I then went in and coloured it using Faber Castelle Polychromo Pencils. I also added some Clear Wink Of Stella to the 'Merry' sentiment and some fine Stampin' Up! Glitter to the Jolly Santa.

That's all from me here, but be sure to hop along all the Design Team blogs and leave a comment along the way, as you never know you might just win a random prize! I know for sure that you won't be disappointed the Design Team have created a bountiful wealth of inspiration :)
