Ivory Wedding Cake with Roses and Hydrangeas

A four tiered hexagonal shape wedding cake adorned with a selection of ivory, pink and burgundy colored sugar roses and small hydrangea blossoms. The red velvet cake tiers have layers of Madagascar vanilla bean buttercream filling. An Ivory fondant covers the cake, which is then decorated with fondant drapes and a piped scroll design to match the wedding invitations. We delivered this cake to the Meadow Wood Manor in Randolph NJ.

We also made a Yankee Stadium Groom's cake for the same wedding reception!

White Roses with Ivory Drapes Wedding Cake

The Terrace in the Sky restaurant in Manhattan was the venue for an elegant New York wedding celebration.

The bride asked me recreate a hexagonal ivory colored cake that she loved, which had white sugar roses and hydrangeas. The four tiers of red velvet cake have a raspberry buttercream filling and a thin layer of raspberry preserves. Each tier is covered in an ivory fondant, a series of scrolls are piped in icing and then adorned with fondant drapes. I added some leaves to give the colors a contrast, and the base of the cake is surrounded by ivory fondant pearls.

This was truly was a white wedding, the cake was delivered through a blizzard!
