Lots of Love For You - Double Trouble #76 "

This is my design team card for Double Trouble Challenge #76 "Recipe 3-2-1" (see below), using the Twisted Sister's optional twist "include a heart and/or expression of Love" and partnering with Heart2Heart "All You Need is Love". 




THING 1: Trouble Maker 
says, "Help us stir up some trouble with a Recipe that can be used for any occasion."

Recipe:     3-2-1 Recipe
Ingredients:  
     3  Embellishments
     2  Patterned Papers
     1  Stamped or Digital Image 
Directions: To enhance your recipe you may use more than the recipe ingredients stipulated but you must include at least the required minimum of each ingredient for successful results. 


The colors at ColorMyHeart Color Dare #429 and the sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #406 were perfect for a Valentine's Day card.  

While going through my stash I came across a stamp set purchased a couple years ago and it was beckoning me to use it, and my die for a tag was conviently nearby.  The sketch showed 3 embellishments (also in the 3-2-1 recipe) so now all i needed were my two design papers to complete the recipe.  Chose two papers with Ballerine and then Mint and French Vanilla cardstock for framing and my image. Recipe and all optional twists were completed... and I was happy with my Valentine Day card.    





At Double Trouble Our Things 1, 2 and 3 sure bring on some wierd combinations but I like to challenge them all; however, you have the flexibility of doing just Thing 1 "Double Trouble Recipe 3-2-1" and be eligible for our random draw.

Double Trouble Challenge #41 using The Cutting Cafe Bat Card

The Cutting Café had a perfect Bat Treat Cup Card which I am using to create my Design Team project for the Double Trouble Challenge #41 "Bat Color Challenge", plus using the optional twist "something that flies" and meeting the requirements for Crafting Happiness' next two challenges.   

Although there wasn't a round treat cup tutorial for this Bat Treat Cup, Reginia Easter's You Tube "Watch Me Work Wednesday - Episode 42 Sucker Treat Cups" was very helpful with the assembly of a round treat cup.  

 What a fun project this was, and of course I needed those Halloween m&m's to meet my color challenge.  My husband bought the biggest bag he could find so that he could eat the left-overs after filling the cup...I was surprise how many m&m's the treat cup held.  Wait, I need some m&m sugar enery...I'll be right back to finish my post.

Boo - Color Dare #365

This is my DT card for ColorMyHeart Color Dare #365 "Inspiration Board" combined with the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #338.  The squares in the sketch were about the same size as my die-cut ghosts and since they were layered with black they didn't need to be framed.  They looked so cute floating against the black sky with speckles of light.  Zip strip from same paper pack was used and making a pendant with the same paper as the background and zip strip.  Sentiment was added.

Hoppy Easter "You are Somebunny Special" Color Dare #339

This bunny image was from one of my Copic Classes; however, instead of using the card kit I decided to do my own card design and change some of the colors to meet the ColorMyHeart Color Dare TicTacToe Challenge #339.  I chose a tutorial "How to make a flip/swing card" by The Frugal Crafter by Lindsay Weirich.  These colors were perfect for a Easter card.

 A variety of Copic Sketch Brush Pens were used for the bunny image...the pants were thistle with polka dots using Row 1 colors: Fern/Raspberry/Carolina and the bunny using Gray Neutrals, Sugarplum on the paws and Carolina for the eyes.  

 There was a lot of layering and piecing of all the florals using the same colors, adding pearls to the center and then randomly placed white Nuvo drops around the florals and the bunny oval frame on the inside.  Two great sentiments were added to finish the card.
