Arte vitral com aguarelas metálicas

A arte vitral é algo que me fascina! No entanto, a minha "arte vitral" limita-se à pintura.

Stained glass is something that fascinates me! Neverthless, my "stained glass art" is limited to painting.

Desta vez decidi fazer "arte vitral" em papel vegetal. Usei este risco:

This time I decided to make "stained glass" on vellum. I used this pattern:

Usei tinta dimensional para traçar o risco. Depois de secar pintei com aguarelas metálicas. O efeito das aguarelas metálicas sobressai de forma extraordinária no papel vegetal! Imita de uma forma mais marcante a arte vitral.

I used puffy paint to trace the outline. After it dried, I painted the pattern with metallic watercolors. The effect of these watercolors really pops on vellum! It looks like stained glass on an entirely new level.

Ficou um efeito lindo e reluzente. Decidi laminar a minha janelinha e cortei à volta. Agora é um marcador de livro :)

The end result is beautiful and shimmering. I decided to laminate my stained glass windows and cut around it. It now serves as a bookmark :)

Flocos de neve com papel glitter e vegetal

Fiz uns flocos de neve com um furador decorativo, usando papel glitter e papel vegetal branco e azul.

I made snowflakes from glitter paper and white and blue vellum, using a snowflake puncher.

Cada floco tem 3 camadas: a de cima em papel glitter, a do meio em papel vegetal de uma cor e a de baixo em papel vegetal de outra cor. As camadas são coladas apenas no centro formando um floco de neve com dimensão.

Each snowflake has 3 layers: the top one in glitter paper, the center in vellum of one color, and the bottom in vellum of another color. The layers are glued together in the center, giving dimension to the snowflake.

Depois usei os flocos num dos últimos cartões que fiz. Usei cartão branco-creme, e usei um fundo contrastante para os flocos de neve. Colei um homem-de-neve autocolante.

Then I used them on one of the last cards I made. I used an off-white card, and used a contrasting background for the snowflakes. I glued a glittery snowman sticker onto the card.

O floco azul foi usado no interior do cartão.

The blue snowflake was used on the inside of the card.

Cartão de aniversário

Fiz este cartão de aniversário.

I made this birthday card.

Fiz o risco das flores a caneta branca em papel vegetal. Pintei com lápis de cor e depois recortei.

I traced the flowers with white pen onto parchment paper. I colored with coloring pencils and then cut around.

Colei no centro de um cartão cinzento.

I glued it to the center of a grey card.

Fiz ainda duas flores à parte, pintei-as e recortei-as.

I also made two other flowers, colored and cut them out.

Para embelezar usei flores plásticas autocolantes.

To embellish I used plastic flower stickers.

No interior, com um furador fiz mais flores em papel vegetal e colei-as. Usei as flores autocolantes para embelezar e desenhei ramos com caneta branca e lápis branco.

On the inside I punched some flower on parchment and glued them. I used the sticker flowers and drew the branches and leaves with white pen and pencil.

Colei uma folha de cor térrea para a mensagem.

I glued an earthy tone piece of paper for the message.

Risco natalício em papel vegetal

Fiz este desenho para depois passar para papel vegetal. Comecei por desenhar em papel com lápis e passei por cima com caneta castanha. Depois apaguei o traço a lápis.

I made this drawing to then pass it to vellum paper. I started by drawing in paper with pencil and then traced over with a brown pen. Then I erased the pencil line.

Depois com um editor de imagem, consegui extrair o risco para usar no papel vegetal.

With a picture editor, I managed to extract the black trace line to use in vellum paper.

Depois tracei no papel vegetal com a caneta castanha. Pintei com canetas gel glitter e esfumei com cuidado com um cotonete.

Then I traced over vellum paper with the brown pen. I colored in with glitter gel pens and blended carefully with a q-tip.

Cartão de aniversário

Fiz este cartão de aniversário. É um cartão com 3 dobras.

I made this birthday card. It's a 3-flap card.

Tracei o desenho das flores em papel vegetal, pintei com canetas gel metálicas e esfumei com um cotonete. Colei uma fita e colei pedrinhas.

I traced the drawing onto vellum paper, colored it with metallic gel pens and blended the ink with a q-tip. I glued a ribbon and some rhinestones.

Na parte da abertura do cartão, colei cartão com desenhos de folhas.

On the aperture of the card, I glued card stock with leaf images.

Há tempos tinha desenhado uma rosa com lápis de colorir. Recortei-a e guardei. Decidi usá-la neste cartão.

Some time ago, I drew a rose with colored pencils. I cut it and kept it. I decided to use the rose in this card.

Fiz umas bordas rendadas em cartão, com furadores de bordas.

I made some lace border in card stock, with edge punches.

Colei também uma flor de papel e uma pedrinha no centro.

I also glued a paper flower and a rhinestone in the center of the flower.

Cartão Boas Festas

Mais um cartão de Boas Festas. Desta vez feito com cartão natalício e papel vegetal a condizer (ambos vêm num kit de natal comprado no LIDL há uns anos).

Another Seasons Greetings card. This time it was made from Christmas decorated cardstock and matching paper vellum (both are from a Christmas kit I bought in LIDL some years ago).

Usei cartão ondulado branco para dar textura às árvores que recortei. Uma foi colada no papel vegetal e decorada com três meias pérolas.

I used white corrugated cardboard to give texture to the trees I cut out. One tree was glued to the vellum paper and decorated with three half pearls.

A outra foi colada no cartão, por dentro do papel vegetal.

The other tree was glued to the card inside the paper vellum.

É muito simples mas gosto bastante deste cartão.

The card is very simple, but I really like it.

Cartão de aniversário ou outra ocasião

Fiz este cartão com entremeios em papel vegetal traçados a caneta branca. As tulipas forma pintadas com canetas gel esbatidas com cotonete.

I made this card with in-betweens in vellum traced with a white pen. The tulips were painted with gel pens and blended with a q-tip.

No interior rasguei e colei um pedaço de papel de algodão para a mensagem escrita. Colei uma panóplia de motivos imprimidos e alguns comprados e embelezei com bocaditos de renda.
On the inside I tore and glued a piece of cotton paper for the written message. I glued a panoply of printed motifs and some store-bought and embellished with scraps of lace.
