The Tag Quotes die from Paper Smooches and I think this die makes super cute little window tags.  If you are wondering where the quote tail part of the die is, I snipped it off and then end up with a framed window instead.

This was one of those cards we have all dealt with... you know, every single little thing that can go wrong does.  The final straw was after colouring and gluing the image down, I discovered it was the scrap piece, not the 'good paper' piece.  And of course I can blame it on my Silhouette... I blame everything on that machine but what happened this time is I accidently used the piece I'd done a test cut on, not the good one, which was considerably smaller and not printed on the cheap Staples cardstock.  I wasn't very happy with how the colours were blending and once it was firmly stuck down, I found out why. So being, perfectly honest, it was more operator error (me!) than the Silhouette.

It's Friday again and that means another Sugar Nellie DT card.  Abi Ballerina is my most favourite image of all time.  Love, love, love this sweet little girl.  She's available as a rubber stamp in the shop.
 Normally I use the R85, R83 and R81 for my pinks but this time I found a different combo I like and it's the RV series in Copics.  Another of my favourites is the Maja Designs paper.  Somehow it seems like you don't need much else for embellishments with that paper.  Fabulous stuff!  You can find Abi Ballerina at Funky Kits.

Happy Friday to you and here I am with my post for Sugar Nellie.   Today's card uses Funky Kit's Mermaid digital image designed by artist Leanne Ellis.  I quite like mermaids and the mystical and magical stories that go with them.
I used my Silhouette machine to cut around the fancy scrollwork... I may never get that machine figured out but I love it when it does these little mattes.  The sentiment is computer generated and I outlined the edges with a Copic Multiliner pen.

Seriously guys, where did August go?  It's like you blink and zoom, it's gone!  We've had a great summer though and I do like seeing the pretty colours when the leaves begin to change.  The coming of winter is a whole different story and I can moan and groan about that for hours.  It's good crafting time though, isn't it?  You don't have to feel guilty for turning up the furnace and pitting in for some good paper crafting time.

Today's post is reviving a card I made way back in 2013 (seems so long ago), which I used one of the stamps from Funky Kit's Wellington Bear stamp set.  This is a great stamp set which contains four images, the large sentiment, 11 small sentiments and a wee tag stamp so it's a great value.  I do love Teddy Bears!
