Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challege #648

 Good Morning, Stampers!

Welcome to the Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge!
The busy holiday season is upon us so it is only
fitting that this week's theme is #simplestamping.
It's time saving and the perfect solution when making multiples!
Add a little embellishment or just keep it simple - the choice is up to you!

One of my favorite things about stamping is how beautiful results
don’t have to be complicated. A beautiful piece of designer paper and a
sentiment or two is all you need to create something that feels polished and
personal. The new Banner Sayings bundle from the Online Exclusives collection
is perfect for this kind of crafting—it’s versatile, cheerful, and designed to make
your projects stand out without a lot of extra fuss.
(tho there is nothing wrong with adding a little embellishment or two!)

SU!pplies:
Stamps:
Banner Sayings
Ink: Tuxedo Black
Paper: Thick Basic White, Floral Charm DSP
Accessories: Three Banner Punch, Linen Thread, 2025-2027 In-Color Flat Pearls

It’s versatile enough for Christmas cards, winter thank-yous, or even cozy seasonal notes. The fine details in the images mean your project looks polished—even with just one ink color. Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge #632

 Good Morning, Stampers!

(click photo to enlarge)

It's a #simplestamping Challenge for this week's Paper Craft Crew
Weekly Challenge! You would think simple stamping would be
easy - a little stamps, ink and paper. But for me, I have a hard
time knowing when to stop! I was really good on this card - I
didn't even add bling!

I stamped the background using the Elements of
Text stamp set and the sentiment from Unbounded Love.
Then, just adding the simple die cuts from the
Impressions Abloom dies to complete the flowers
make this a simple and easy card in under 5 minutes!

SU!pplies:
Stamps:
Unbounded Love, Elements of Text
Ink: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso
Paper: Thick Basic White, Mossy Meadow, Calypso Coral, Petal Pink
Accessories: Impressions Abloom dies

Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge #559

 Good Morning, Stampers!

(click photo to enlarge)

This week's Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge is
Simple Stamping! It's a great way to introduce
people to stamping as its simple, quick and easy!
Once they get started, they are hooked!

When people are just trying out stamping for the first time,
I always try to keep it very simple so not to overwhelm, but
it is hard to keep simple when you want to add pretty ribbons
or embellishments, too! Here, I just used several images with
different inks to add a little layered look to a single piece of cardstock.
Of course, #simplestamping is not just for beginners!
This is a great option when making multiples of one design
for an occasion or event - its a huge time and postage saver!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Ringed with Nature, So Sincere
Ink: Crushed Curry, Gray Granite, Mossy Meadow
Paper: Very Vanilla

Be sure to check back tomorrow - I will have a stepped-up version of this card!

rubberFUNatics Weekly Challenge #274

 Good Morning, Stampers!

(click photo to enlarge)

Thank you for joining me for this week's
rubberFUNatics Weekly Challenge!
I love the benefits of #simplestamping - time saver,
minimal supplies, simplicity, etc. but sometimes it can be a
little too simple for me and I want just a little more. That's where
sponging comes in. It can add a little texture or dimension
as a little "faux" layering. Here, I've added some cloud
layers with a sponge, some ink and a border die.

I cut the border from a scrap piece of cardstock.
I placed the border along the bottom of the card
front and lightly sponged around the top. I
worked my way up repeating the process and
angling the die a little different each time. It looks like
the balloon is soaring through the clouds!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Hot Air Balloon
Ink: Balmy Blue, Azure Afternoon, Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso
Paper: Basic White
Accessories: Sponges, Basic Border dies

I hope you are inspired to give simple stamping a try!

Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge #530

 Good Morning, Stampers!

(click photo to enlarge)

Welcome to the Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge!
This week, we are stamping simple, quick and easy cards.
These are great for new stampers, when you are in a time crunch
or when you are making large quanitites. It's not as easy as
you may think. I hope you'll play along with us!

I used the Layered Leaves stamp set for this card.
I did a simple faux layer technique that is a big
"wow" - especially for new stampers!

Cut a circle from copy paper
to create a mask.

Place the mask where you'd like on the card front and
add a little color using a blending
brush and Soft Seafoam ink. You can then
stamp on top with a darker ink.

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Layering Leaves
Ink: Soft Seafoam, Early Espresso
Paper: Very Vanilla
Accessories: Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots, Stylish Shapes

rubberFUNatics Weekly Challenge #232

 Good Morning, Stampers!

(click photo to enlarge)

I'm so glad you could join me for this  rubberFUNatics
Weekly Challenge! It's a Simple Stamping challenge
which means for me, it's not simple! haha!
I find the simplest of stamping is hard for me because I always
find that I need to keep adding - layers, designer papers, embellishments, etc.
I think I got it this time - of course I needed a little bling!

I started with a very faint sponge of Pool Party ink onto the
card base using a blending brush. Then I stamped the cherry images
and sentiment and finished it off with a couple of Basic Rhinestones.
Simple enough??? I think so! A great way to make multiples in no time!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Sweetest Cherries
Ink: Early Espresso, Garden Green, Granny Apple Green, Sweet Sorbet, Pool Party
Paper: Basic White
Accessories: Basic Rhinestones, Blending Brush

I hope you try some Simple Stamping for yourself!

rubberFUNatics Weekly Challenge #218

 Good Morning, Stampers!

This week's weekly rubberFUNatics challenge is
#simplestamping. It's not as easy as it looks!
I always want to keep adding more elements  - layers,
embellishments, etc. I have to keep reminding myself
it needs to be SIMPLE!!

I combined the Joyful Flurry and Biggest Wish stamp sets
for this quick and easy holiday thank you card. It came together
quickly and made it easy to make multiples in no time!
Of course, I had to add a little bling to the center of the snowflakes
with a couple of silver pearls!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Joyful Flurry, Biggest Wish
Ink: Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Smoky Slate
Paper: Basic White
Accessories: Silver Pearls

I hope this inspires you to create a little #simplestamping, too!

rubberFUNatics Weekly Challenge #210

 Good Morning, Stampers!

(click photo to enlarge)

We are doing a little Simple Stamping for this week's challenge.
Just add some stamps, ink and paper. It's not as easy as it seems -
it's hard not to add embellishments! Give it a try!

This is a simple technique I like to use for beginners.
Run a piece of masking/painters/washi tape across the card
and stamp the images. Once you are done, gently remove the
tape. It gives a nice defined line. You can leave it as-is
or you can add a little cardstock or ribbon for added interest.
I really like the overall clean and crisp look. So easy!

SU!pplies:
Stamps:
Lovely You, Painted Poppies, Big Hooray
Ink: Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Tuxedo Black
Paper: Basic White, Basic Black, Highland Heather, Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends, White Crinkle Ribbon, Stripes and Splatters embossing folders

I hope you give this technique a try!

Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge #488

 Good Morning, Stampers!

The team is back today with a #simplestamping challenge.
This is simple and easy for a beginner who may be trying out
rubberstamping for the first time but for those of us who
have been stamping for awhile know how hard this can be!
We always want to add more: layers, embellishments, die cuts, etc.
It's hard to NOT add more! Seriously though, whether you are a
beginner or more advanced, #simplestamping can be a huge timesaver!

This card features a sneek peek at the NEW Fitting
Florets bundle that will be coming in January!
I did a little basic stamping along with a strip
of designer paper and raised up the sentiment
for a little added dimension. You can really whip out
several cards in no time for invitations or when you need
to make a large quantity for a special occasion!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Fitted Florets
Ink: Crumb Cake, Craft White
Paper: Crumb Cake, Basic White, Celebrate Everything DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes dies

rubberFUNatics Weekly Challenge #202

 Good Morning, Stampers!

(click photo to enlarge)

Thanks for joining me for this week's rubberFUNatics
Challenge! The thme for today is Simple Stampin'.
It's a great way to introduce new stampers to cardmaking,
but it's not as easy as it looks to avid stampers!
We always want to dress, bling or layer it up!

Lucky for me the Cottage Rose stamp set is gorgeous
all on it's own! I literally just stamped the images
onto a Very Vanilla cardbase using Crumb Cake ink and added
speckles using my Waterpainter and Crumb Cake ink. SO SIMPLE!
After adding the sentiment, I had to put the card to the side
until my "it needs some bling" feeling subsided!

Simple Stamping is my go-to whenever I need
to make multiples of one card or if I'm in a time-crunch.
It's a real time-saver and shows you really don't need
much to make a pretty card!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Cottage Rose
Ink: Crumb Cake, Craft White
Paper: Very Vanilla, Early Espresso
Accessories: Waterpainters

I hope you'll give Simple Stampin' a try soon!

rubberFUNatics Weekly Challenge #174

 Good Morning, Stampers!

This week's challenge is Simple Stamping.
It's not as easy as it looks! It's hard not to want to
add a little embellishment or texture with embossing.
This challenges you to create a quick and easy card
using only stamps, ink and paper!

This is really simple! You can whip out several in
no time! It's great for thank you notes or if you
are needing a large amount of cards in a short period
of time. It saves on postage, too!
Once I stamped the cactus and sentiment, I used my
water painter and Crumb Cake ink to add speckles
to the card to soften the stark background just a bit.
It almost gives the illusion of handmade paper!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Cactus Cuties
Ink: Soft Succulent, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso
Paper: Very Vanilla
Accessories: Water Painter

I hope you take on this week's challenge and create using just stamps, ink and paper!

Quick and Easy Halloween Card

 Good Morning, Stampers!

I have a quick and easy card to share with you today. I had a request from a customer to create her a really  cute, (non scary) Halloween card that is easily duplicatable as she was needing to make 100+ cards. WOW! That's a lot of  Halloween cards! Of course, I was up for the challenge - here is what I came up with:

This card came together pretty quick.I stamped the sentiment in
three different colors and I added a few pearls to
dress it up a bit. Hope it isn't too scary!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Frightfully Cute
Ink: Tuxedo Black, Highland Heather, Granny Apple Green, Pumpkin Pie, Bumblebee, Basic Gray
Paper: Basic White
Accessories: Highland Leather pearls

CCMC Saturday Blog Hop - Strip it Down

 Good Morning, Stampers!

Last week, the Create with Connie and Mary design team
shared ideas that were full of layers and embellishments.
This week, we are stripping it down to one layer!

I have to be honest, I think it is harder to do one layer cards!
I always want to keep adding layers, textures and embellishments.
However, one layer cards are a great time (and postage) saver
and really can be just a nice!

I combined Highland Heather for the flowers along
with Pretty Peacock for the leaves and sentiment.
A bit of a unique color combination but I think
it draws attention to the flowers and you don't
even realize it's just one sheet of cardstock!
It's hard to tell from the photo, but I added Wink of Stella
to the edges of the flowers. A little extra shimmer on the Shimmer White
cardstock - so pretty! Off to the mail it goes!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Beautiful Friendship
Ink: Pretty Peacock, Highland Heather
Paper: Shimmer White
Accessories: Whisper White Crinkle ribbon
