Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge #634

 Good Morning, Stampers!

Welcome to the Paper Craft Crew Weekly Challenge!
This week, we are playing along with a Tic Tac Toe
challenge where you can select the themes either across,
diagonal or horizontal to create your project.
So many different possibilities for creating - have fun!

(finished card size 4 1/8" x 9 1/2" fits an A10 envelope) 

There’s something timeless and tender about the arrival 
of a new baby—and what better way to celebrate than with a card 
that speaks softly, yet sweetly?
My card features the Party Alphabet letters embossed with the Forever
Plaid embossing folder. I outlined the letters using the Basic Black 
Stampin' Write markers to mimic the outline on the stamped images.
Whether you're welcoming a little one into the world or 
sending love to new parents, this card wraps your 
message in warmth and whimsy.

Thank you for joining me for this week's rubberFUNatics
Weekly Challenge! It's a Pick 3! Create a card by choosing
three of the six choices. There are lots of possibilities to
mix and match - have fun with it!


I chose BABY/SHAPES/PATTERNS for this card.
I pulled the colors from the Bright and Beautiful designer papers.
The bright and bold colors are gender neutral - perfect for 
the any little bundle of joy and the Easter Bunny stamp set
is just as sweet as can be for baby!

rubberFUNatics Weekly Challenge #227

 Good Morning, Stampers!

It's a fun Pick 3 for this week's rubberFUNatics 
Weekly Challenge! Pick (3) of the (6) themes and incorporate
them into your project!


I chose Baby/Animals/Ombre for this card but then realized I 
also added rhinestones! Oops! It's a pick 4 on this one! 
I created my own Ombre designer paper by rubbing Daffodil Delight
and So saffron ink onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using a 
blending brush. Then, I stamped the floral image all over the cardstock
using Versamark ink and sprinkled it with white embossing
power and heat set. The sweet Easter Bunny images work 
perfectly for baby cards, too!

rubberFUNatics Weekly Challenge #222

 Good Morning, Stampers!

Thank you for joining me for this week's rubberFUNatics 
challenge! It's a patchwork quilt! Grab your pattern
paper scraps and play along - it's so quick and easy!


You can use any die or punch to create this look but 
I found that the stitched dies really make it look like
it's been sewn! The colors in the Country Gingham designer 
paper offers (4) different colors in (6) different patterns - 
perfect for baby cards! I kept the image and sentiment 
somewhat simple so your eye is drawn to the background.

From sun up til' sun down, the Sharing Sunshine set is great for all occasions! Here, I've added the "moon" using Whisper White ink and sponged Balmy Blue ink onto the clouds for a sweet card to welcome baby!

Not Just for Easter!

 Good Morning, Stampers!

These sweet little animanls from the Easter Friends stamp set are the perfect addition to welcome
a new baby! I love it when you can find new ways to strech your crafting dollars!

Finished card is 4 1/4" x 4 1/4"
Designer paper is 2" x 2"

I paired this sweet little duck image with the Welcome Little One
sentiment from the Celebrating You stamp set and the Balmy Blue 
designer papers from the You're A Peach collection. 
A super quick and easy baby card!

Hello Sweet Baby

 Good Morning, Stampers!


I've been out shopping my dollar stores again! 
I was in search of items for the holidays when I 
stumbled upon this cute little wooden cloud with tassle
just itchin' for a Stampin' Up! makeover!


The Peaceful Place designer paper from the holiday
mini catalog has soft Smoky Slate patterns that
are not just for winter or holiday!

I traced the cloud onto the backside of the
snowflake pattern using a pencil and cut it out.


I then adhered it to the top using Tombo 
Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I love using this glue
 for adhering paper to wood because it allows
me time to adjust and work it where I want and
it won't bubble the paper. It's good to keep a few
of these bottles on hand for these types of projects! 


And here is the finished project. I incorporated the
Stitched Stars and Playful Alphabet dies as well
as the Star-Crossed embossing folder and Measure
of Love stamp set. I think this will be sweet
as a gift topper or nice addition to a baby nursery!

CCM Satuday Blog Hop - Goodbye Sale-A-Bration

It's hard to believe that Sale-A-Bration is over in just 12 days!
This week, the Create with Connie and Mary design team is
saying "good-bye" to some of  their favorite Sale-A-Bration 2021 products! 


I've been having a lot of fun creating with the Textures and
Frames stamp set. There are so many fun possibilities for
making your own unique backgrounds!


Here, I added the Handsomely Suited stamp set
for a fun masculine card.


I added the Turtle Friends stamp set to 
welcome a  sweet new baby.




And finally, I added the Ornate Thanks stamp set for
a simple Fall thank you.

So many different possibilities when you mix the colors and
patterns! This is a great set for basic stamping and backgrounds!

rubberFUNatics Card Challenge #127

 Good Morning, Stampers!

Easter/Spring brings the hope of new life, so it only seemed fitting for this week's card challenge to be a baby theme! Grab your supplies and get creating as we anticipate the arrival of a little bundle of joy!






I kept the color gender-neutral and paired the Oval 
Occasions stamp set with the Stitched Stars dies
for this card. A clean and simple design 
and ready for the new arrival!

OSAT August Blog Hop - New Beginnings

Good Morning, Stampers!


I'm so glad you could join us for the August One Stamp
at a Time Blog Hop today! The theme is New Beginnings
and I think we all can agree that we could use some new
beginnings these days! 


How about babies??!! I'm really limited on
baby supplies, so I try to use what I have and make
it work. Hearts are not just for Valentine's Day or weddings.
Love is expressed all year long for different occasions, so why
not incorporate them into your projects, right?  The Playful
Alphabet dies are the perfect little size for personalizing
just about any papercraft project, too!


I started with a light watercolor wash and then added
a few speckles and embossing before adhering the card front.


I used the same idea on these little pennants.
These banners are the perfect way to dress up
a tasty dessert, don't you think?

PCC Sketch Challenge #369

Good Morning, Stampers!

It's another great sketch challenge at the
Paper Craft Crew today! I used a fun background
paper from  Birthday Bonanza - I love the bold colors and
circles. A little non-traditional for a baby card, but 
I think it still works for either gender, don't you?

Stampin' Up! has lots of great patterns and colors
in this collection - you need to give them all a try!
