Creativity NOW!

 Good Morning, Stampers!

One of my favorite things to do is get together with my fellow stampin' friends to spend the day stamping and catching up. Yesterday, we all got together for the Creativity Now event and it was so much fun!

We went with a patriotic theme for the event. I found these cute little
buckets at Dollartree and added the vinyl logo, candy and glow stick.

Everyone working hard and creating!
Such a fun afternoon! I'll share some of the projects
we created in the coming days - stay tuned!

be fun to transform it into a "Dear Santa" theme.

Whatcha think? I really love how it turned out! The Santa

I added the candy canes from the Sweetest Christmas
designer paper pack along with a little ribbon for hanging.
I think it would be fun for the littles to put their letters to Santa inside!

Craft Table Organization

 Good Morning, Stampers!

I'm always looking for ways to keep myself organized and my
most recent dollar store find left me over-the-moon happy!
Check out what I did with these fun pegboards and accessories:

I can't believe I hit the jackpot! I glued (4) 5" x 9 3/4"
panels together using gorilla glue and then set it onto a turntable along with
a few different hook styles. This will keep a few of the items I craft with
most often close by while keeping my crafting area clutter-free!
AND all for under $10.00, too! Whoohoo!

There are different colors and sizes of pegboards and
clips making it real easy to customize for your own crafting needs!

Dollar Store Stampin' Up! Style - SPOOKY Bat

 Good Morning, Stampers!

I was back at the dollar 🌳 store not too long ago and
stocked up on several new items to create with!
The store was full of Halloween decor and this
wooden bat was one of many that caught my eye.

It was the perfect time to test out the new 6" x 6" Cute
Halloween designer papers! They have double-sided
papers with the most adorable prints. It made it hard
to decide which patterns to use!

Here it is all completed. It was really easy to trace the sections onto
the papers. Once I adhered the papers, I added a little bit of Tuxedo
black ink with a dauber to all the edges for a little definition.
Then, I added the letters and stamped sentiment. Here's a hint:
When cutting letters, add the paper you are using to the foam (or standard)
adhesive sheet first. It is a huge time save and makes it really easy to adhere -
no sticky mess! Finally, I added a few of the images cut from the designer
papers and added the ribbon to hang. So festive!

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Frightfully Cute
Ink: Tuxedo Black
Paper: Basic White, Cute Halloween DSP, Pumpkin Pie, Black Glitter
Accessories: Playful Alphabet dies, Stitched So Sweeetly dies, Star Crossed embossing folder,
Black Glitter ribbon, Black/White gingham ribbon, Black/White Baker's twine, Sponge Dauber, Foam adhesive sheets

Wooden Domino Ornaments

 Good Morning, Stampers!

Here is the inspiration for today's project.
I came across these adorable wall hangings while
searching Pinterest recently. I thought they would be cute
as ornaments so I went on a mission to see what I could
find to make a smaller version.

Dollartree Wooden Dominoes for the win! These are the perfect
size - measuring approximately 1 1/2" x 2 3/4" and there
are (28) in a package for just $1.00! Such a deal!
Look for them in the toy section.

I started by adding holes at the top for hanging.
The wood is really soft so using an awl with a
little pressure was enough to get it thru - no drilling needed!

The Snowfront Stamp set makes the sweetest
winter scenes - so peaceful and serene, don't you think?

Here is how I completed these ornaments:

1. Add the woodgrain designer paper from the In Good Taste collection directly
on top of the dominoes using Tombo Multi-purpose liquid glue.
2. Rub the edges of the domino with Early Espresso ink.
3. Add wire for the handles.
4.. Stamp the sentiment onto the domino using Jet Black Stazon ink.
5.. Stamp the scenes onto the die cut shapes using Early Epsresso, Old Olive and Pool Party inks.
6. Adhere the shapes to the dominoes using Stampin' Dimensionals.
7. Add bows using glue dots.

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Snow Front, Itty Bitty Christmas
Ink: Early Espresso, Pool Party, Old Olive
Paper: Whispser White, Real Red, In Good Taste DSP
Accessories: Stitched Stars dies, Be Mine Stitched dies, Wire for hanging, Real Red Ribbon, Whisper White Baker's Twine.

Dollar Store Stampin' Up! Style Curvy Framed Art

 Good Morning, Stampers!

I found these cute 5 3/4" x 5 3/4" frames in the frames
section at the dollar store this past week.
I really love the beaded handle!!!

It was the perfect opportunity to try out my new Curvy
Keepsakes stamp and bundle set. I love using natual
elements for the holidays!

The Curvy Keepsakes stamp set, bundle and designer
series papers will be available November 1st in my
online store. I also added the star from the Stitched Star
dies and the gold hoop embellishment as well as a few
extra festive ribbons! A little tip: I added stripes to my
Whisper White Baker's Twine using my Shaded Spruce
marker. It's an easy way to tie all the colors and elements
of the project together.

SU!pplies:
Stamps: Curvy Christmas
Ink: Jet Black Stazon, Real Red, Shaded, Shaded Spruce
Paper: Shimmer White, Brushed Metallic, Shaded Spruce, Classic Christmas DSP
Accessories: Real Red ribbon, Whisper White Polka Dot ribbon, Whisper White Baker's Twine,
Stitched Stars dies, Gold Hoop embellishments, Curvy dies, Real Red Rhinestones, Blender Pen

 Good Morning, Stampers!

I had a chance to play with another one of my Dollar Tree finds. This wooden table top decoration is sweet, but of course, I had to make it a little sweeter with the Playful Alphabet dies, Gathered Leaves dies and the In Good Taste designer papers! These are a few of the things I miss about Fall since moving from Michigan last year. I haven't seen much of this here in the desert!

SU!pplies:

Paper: In Good Taste DSP, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Cinnamon Cider, Cherry Cobbler

Accessories: Gathered Leaves dies, Playful Alphabet dies, Cinnamon Cider ribbon, Forever Flourishing dies

Stampin' Up! Storage Solution

Good Morning, Stampers!

I have a fun and super-easy storage idea for your Stampin' Up! embellishments.
Head over to the school supply section and grab yourself some clear
zipper pencil cases and 1 1/2" book rings.

I separated my embellishments and
filled pouch one with my rhinestones....

one with my pearls.......

one with my adhesive backed sequins.....

and one with my enamel dots.....

Then I put them all together and added
the book ring to the top.
It's so helpful to have them all on one place for easy access.
You can hang them on your craft cart, wall hook or
anywhere that gives you easy access to all
your pretty embellishments! Don't have a hook?
Grab a Command Hook and attached it to the side of your
craft table! 😉
