Try Stamping on Tuesday Blog Hop with prizes!

Are you excited you will have three ways to win a prize during our anniversary celebration!  I am so happy to be starting us off on this hop--be sure to keep on hopping all the way though.

First, one card randomly drawn will win a prize at the end of the week so be sure to play along.  Next, anyone who leaves a comment on each and every designer's blog will be eligible to enter a draw for a prize.  And lastly, any comments on the Try Stamping on Tuesday blog during the week will go into a draw as well.   So everyone has a chance to get in on the fun.

Our sketch:

(Twist - A Masculine Touch)
Here is my card--I used the Animal Talk set with the new Look Up to Father stamp in the background.

I think this is such a sweet set and I really like how this card came out--nice and simple so it is perfect a man or boy--now how about checking out what the rest of the team did your next stop is the very talented

Monday Lunchtime Sketch Chalelnge 272! ( TSSC272 )

So happy you stopped by today--hope you are looking for this week's sketch challenge--it is another fun one.  Here is the sketch ....

And my quick sample--just got back from camping so had to do a fast one-but I like it.

I love this dog image and it looks great in a circle--I used what ever was on my work station from before leaving for camp--love making scraps work!
Stamps: Animal Talk
Paper: Baked Brown Sugar, Island Indigo, Whisper White, dp
Ink: Island Indigo
Other: circle nestibilities, markers

Now for the amazing Design Team samples--they are sure to inspire you...

Those really were amazing--don't you agree?  Now it is your turn to play along.
Here are a few basic rules for participation...
  1. You have a full week to play along!
  2. Create a new card using the sketch as your inspiration.
  3. Use any products you choose.
  4. Add your card to your blog or other on-line spot and link back to this challenge.
  5. Come back here and add a direct link to your sample for the challenge and NOT you home page of your blog--people will not look for your challenge card--trust me.
  6. And this one is not really a rule but a request--get rid of that word verification!  It makes it hard for us to comment on your samples.  It is easier for you to delete the spam then for us to jump through tons of hoops to comment.  If your put your comments on moderation you do not have to worry about spam--you will have the option to delete it BEFORE it ever goes on your blog so you will ALWAYS be safe!
  7. Have fun and tell you friends to play too!

     Thanks for stopping by--Mary Jo

One more with the Animal Talk set!

I still have one more card with this darling set.  This one is using the bird stamp.  Such a cute image.

This is a different layout--it just kept evolving it was supposed to be a clean and simple card but I had to keep adding stuff because it looked to plain--go figure!  I did get to use lots of fun new stuff though.

Stamps: Animal Talk
Paper: Raspberry Ripple, Gumball Green Whisper White
Ink: none
Other: markers, gel pen, new piercing pack,  new Designer Buttons, ribbon from SAB, scallop edge punch and the new Apothecary Accents Framelits

I hope you enjoyed my set of cards with the Animal talk set.  I did not make one with the dog image this time around but I do have one on my blog HERE if you want to check it out.  That would conclude the whole set--one card with each image!

Time to loose myself in a good book!

Another sample with the Animal Talk stamp set!

Here is a quick post for today.  Wanted to share another sample with the Animal Talk set that I showed you yesterday.  Such a fun set.  Today I am using the cat image.

Funny that those pearls didn't look crooked when I look at them in real life--you can always see more details in pictures for some reason.  Oh well, I will straighten them before sending it off.  This was for a color challenge somewhere????  I can't remember where I seen it so I guess I am not linking up, lol!  The colors are Cajun Craze, Baja Breeze and Basic Gray  with some Whisper White thrown in.  You may have to click on the image to see the details.  It looks kind of dark to me.  I hope your having a fun week and that you are finding lots of time to stamp and enjoy life.  I think I am off to take a nice hot bath!  Calgon take me away!

LNS is going to the dogs!

Well actually any animal--our challenge for this week on Latenightstamper's is to use any animal on your project! How fun and easy is that! And I just happen to have the perfect set for a bunch of cards for this challenge. Animal Talk is one of my favorites from the new catalog--so cute! Have you seen it yet?

See, I told you they were cute.  So I figure I had to make a card with each image.  So let's see, today we will start with the frog image.  I actually have two with that one but one only uses part of the stamp.  But since they are both frogs I thought I would just share both now. I am not sure why but I always think that frog stamps are so cute!

Here are the details for the cards.

Card 1
Stamps: Animal Talk
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White
Ink: basic black, chocolate chip
Other: markers, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder,  Bitty Banner Framelits, nestabilities, Fancy Fan embossing folder, Wide stitched Chocolate Chip ribbon

Card 2
Stamps: Animal Talk, Moving Forward
Paper: Gumball Green, Whisper White, Basic Black and Comfort Cafe dp
Ink: Gumball Green, Basic Black
Other: Apothecary  Accents Framelits, hand held circle punch, markers, rhinestones

See ya soon,
Thanks for stopping by

So many challenges...so little time!

I have two challenge cards to share with you today.  One is for the 411 sketch challenge and one for Create with Connie and Mary sketch.  Both sketches were really fun this week.  Different and I like that!

The first is the 411 sketch..which by the way I thought I still had time to post since the linky tool is still open--but I see they picked their top three already--sad face, lol. Lesson learned see when the challenge ends and not when the linky closes--I just assumed they were the same--and we all know the saying about what happens when we assume.

My mom asked for some anniversary cards so I am sure you will see a few in the next few days.  This is the first.  Love these colors and this darling stamp set!  Details will be at bottom of post.

Next up is the Create with Connie and Mary sketch another fun one.  I flipped it on its side though and made this super fun birthday card using it.

I love the colors they are just so fun.  What a cute stamp set this one is too!  Here are the details for each card.

Card one.
Stamps: For the Birds, Teeny Tiny Wishes, and an old retired stamps set for the Love Birds sentiment.
Paper: Island Indigo, Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red, Whisper White and Twitterpated dp
Ink: Basic Black, Riding Hood Red
Other: pinking hearts border punch, markers

Card two:
Stamps: Animal Talk
Paper: Daffodil Delight,  Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Floral District DP
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzleberry, Baja Breeze
Other: markers, end of pencil eraser for dots.

Hope you have a fabulous weekend.  I am so looking forward to mine.
