Try Stamping on Tuesday!

We have another great sketch for you this week on the Try Stamping on Tuesday blog!  Hope you will find time to play along.  Here is my card for this week's sketch...

I used the Summer Silhouettes stamp set with Tangerine Tango and Crisp Cantaloupe and Pistachio Pudding!

I love the giant button but it does make the card pretty stinkin heavy--not a card you would be able to sent with normal postage on it, lol!

Stamps: Summer Silhouettes, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Tangerine Tango, Crisp Cantaloupe and Pistachio Pudding
Paper: Tangerine Tango, Crisp Cantaloupe and Whisper White
Other: bakers twine, markers, tasteful trim die, large metal button

here is this week's sketch....

Have a great day!

One more with the same set and leftovers!

Yep, I am still going with this set and more left over pieces from Christmas cards.  Here is another one using the same colors as the one yesterday.

Again the colors don't look true--Kraft, Real Red, Lucky Limeade and Whisper White.  Only extras are the Lucky Limeade ribbon and rhinestones.  And of course the stamp set is Summer Silhouettes!

Quick post for today!
Thanks for stopping by.

More Summer Silhouettes!

I know it is the middle of winter and Valentine's day is coming soon--so you would think my cards would reflect those--but NO!  I am so addicted to this set.  I decided to use some scrape from left over pieces of cards from Christmas and see if I could re-use the parts to make something with this set.  I am so done with Christmas cards so I had to do something with these leftovers!

Not sure why I can not get these colors to look like they should--these are kraft, real read and lucky limeade.  Such a simple yet pretty card, don't you think?   Kept it really basic--just added some rhinestones and butterlies from the embosslet!

Happy today!

And here is my sample--I have lots of cards coming with this set.  I just got it and have been going crazy with it.  I actually am working on a tutorial for a one sheet wonder that you can make 9 cards and a double page 6 x 6 scrapbook spread.  Coming soon so be on the look out.

In case you don't recognize the set is is Summer Silhouettes.  I have been wanting this set for a while and finally broke down and purchased it--so glad I did.  The colors used on this card are Rich Razzleberry, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White and Lucky Limeade.

Hope your new year finds you with lots of time for stamping and creating!

Monday Lunchtime Sketch challenge 231 (TSSC231)

Yea, the sun is shinning and I am ready to start a brand new week!  Or course I always start my week out with my new sketch challenge.  If you are new to my blog or just visiting for a moment please check out the sketch challenge.  A new sketch is posted each week on Mondays but you have the full week to play along!  And it is a blog hop too!  That means if you add the code to your blog while you are in the edit HTML mode your readers can play along and view the samples right from YOUR blog!  Hope you have time to play this week!  Here is the sketch....

Pretty simple one this week!  I actually have two samples for you.  They are both using the sketch, both using the same colors and both using the same stamps but they look so different because of the flip of the sketch.  So fun how that works. Which one do you like better???

Funny that I wasn't sure I wanted this set when I seen it but after so many of my customers bought it I gave it a second look.  Yep!  I want it now--the cards for today challenge are done with my friend Joanie's stamp set.  Thanks Joanie!  Now I have to get my own.  Pretty bad when you are enabled by your customers/friends!

Both cards are using the Summer Silhouettes.  The sentiment on the first card is from the Blooming with Kindness and the sentiment on the second card is from a retired set of rub ons.  They both use Lucky Limeade, Rich Razzleberry, Tangerine Tango and Whisper White

SO, which do you like best?

Can't wait to see your creation with this sketch--hurry up and get stamping!  Them come on back and add your samples below!
