Manly yes, but I like it too!

One more card for the Latnightstamper's masculine challenge this week.  I thought I would use some of those little stamps from the Pretty Petites stamp set that I got for FREE during SAB!  Along with the matching punch.

I always love this layout for small images.  I am sure I have used it many times before but it always looks fresh and fun to me.  The colors and papers can change the theme and style so much!

Stamps: Pretty Petites, A Fitting Occasion, Feeling Sentimental
Paper: Lucky Limeade, Very Vanilla, Midnight Muse, Summer Starfurit, scraps of dp
Ink: Midnight Muse
Other: 1 inch circle punch, petite curly label punch, corner rounder

Hope you day is going well, I have a sick child home from school today so I am back to tend to him.
See ya soon and thanks for stopping by.

Try Stamping on Tuesday--Man!

This week's sketch for the Try Stamping On Tuesday blog is a fun one.  I decided to combine it with the Latenightstamper's masculine challenge for this week.  Here is the sketch...

And here is my (somewhat) masculine card...

This is the first time I used the ticket set.  kind of fun--the punch works really well with it. Although it is one of those punches that punches two of different sizes at one time which always frustrates me because of the waste of paper but it works and does make the tickets cuter!

Stamps: Feeling Sentimental, That's the Ticket
Paper: Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit, Lucky Limeade, Whisper White and Print Poetry DP
Ink: Midnight Muse
Other: framelits, ticket builder punch, markers

Hope you have a fabulous day!

Hello!?

I think this is one of the easiest sets to work with--the images look great plain or colored in--and they are just fun images.  I mixed the Feeling Sentiment set with the Hello from the Oh Hello set.  I cut the Oh and the Hello apart so I can use the Hello alone with out having to do anything special.  And the fun thing about that is that if you cut with just one cut you can always just put them right back together on the stamp blog and use it together without thinking twice about making them line up together.  They just fit like a puzzle.  This is one of my favorite layouts--an old sketch from my Monday sketch challenges (click here for this week's sketch).

Red Black and Grey!  You can't go wrong in my book.
Nice card for either a female or male.  Love to have a bunch of those in my stash.

Stamps: Feeling Sentimental, oh, Hello
Paper: Basic Black, Real Red, Whisper White, Twitterpated DP
Ink: Basic Black
Other: Markers

Hope your day is amazing!

Try Stamping on Tuesday

It's Tuesday again so that we are working on a new sketch over on the Try Stamping On Tuesday Blog.  I hope you can play along. We are celebrating TSOT's  two year anniversary so it is a PRIZE week!  This week we have a pretty simple layout--I finally pulled out my Feeling Sentimental Stamp set to play.

I also pulled out a color I have not used in a while--Calypso Coral!  So pretty.  I even left the layout nice and simple.  The Hello comes from the Oh, Hello set--I cut the Oh and the Hello in two since I know there will be more times that I want to use the Hello.

Here is the sketch.... as you can see I flipped it to make my bike image work.  The black frame is from the Labels Collection framelits--I used the same die in two different directions--Look here for a tutorial that I did a while ago on how to do that HERE

Stamps: Feeling Sentimental, Oh Hello
Paper: Calypso Coral, Basic Black, Whisper White and Tea for Two Designer Series Paper
Ink: Basic Black, Calypso Coral
Other: Labels Collection Framelits, marker, sponges, white gel pen
