Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 236 (TSSC236)

Happy Labor Day to you!  Hope you are enjoying the extra day of relaxation today.  What better time to do some stamping and creating!  Here is this week's sketch challenge to give you a jump start!

I actually flipped it to use on it's side.  I am combing my sketch challenge with the new Latenightstamper's challenge for the week--Fall projects.  I have to say that the only thing that makes it easier for me to move on from summer to fall is the wonderful colors and textures of the season.  I am mostly a summer person.  I am said to realize that there are not many current fall stamps this year???  I think I only one this one--so be ready to see it used a lot.

I love these awesome buttons on this card--it is one of those embellishments that I buy and then hate to use, lol!  But I added three to one card!  Wow.  Now if I can get my self to give the card away, lol!

Stamps: Gently Falling, Moving Foward (sentiment)
Paper: Pumpkin Pie, More Mustard, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Ink: Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, More Mustard, Chocolate Chip
Other: Chocolate Chip polka dot scallop ribbon, buttons.

Come on and play along--this is an easy sketch.  After you make your sample you can come on back and add you DIRECT link to the linky below!  It is a blog hop so if you add the code to you post while in the HTML mode your readers can play along right from your blog!

Happy Stamping!

Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge 235 (TSSC235)

Here we go again--for the 245th time, lol!  The new sketch challenge for the week.  I was in the mood to be really challenged so I combined it with a challenge on VC Rocks to use one stamp set and create both a masculine/boy card and a feminine/girl card.  So I used one sketch too!  As you may notice I flipped the sketch on it side for my samples.  I may have to use it the "right" way next chance I get.  (there really is no right or wrong way-you are allowed to turn/flip the sketch!)

Here is the actual sketch for this week....

And my samples, both samples are using the Ronald McDonald stamps set Moving Forward.along with the  Itty Bitty Banners stamp set.

Can you see that I wrote the word welcome on the little banner on the blimp!  You may have to click on the image to see.  The clouds are from the Soaring Stamp set.  The colors on this first card are Soft Suede and Pool Party along with Whisper White.  Other supplies used are markers, circle punches, retired alphabits stamp set, bitty banners framelits.  The Designer series paper is from the Comfort Caf'e paper pack.

This next card is a bit brighter and girly.  Again the stamp sets are the same along with the layout.

The colors on this card are Baja Breeze, Rich Razzleberry, Tangerine Tango and Rose Red along with Whisper White.  Other products are circle punches, rhinestones, markers and the bitty banners framelits.  The Designer series paper is from the Floral District paper pack.

Wasn't that fun to use the same layout, same stamps and get such different looks.  Hope you enjoyed it.  I also hope you find time to play along with my sketch challenge this week.  I think it is a fun way no matter how you flip it!!!  Be sure to come on back and add your link to the blog hop below.  And if you add the code to your blog while in the html mode you can allow your readers to play along too right from your blog!

Please use a DIRECT link to the project and not just a link to your blog home page.  Thanks so much!

A day late but so worth it, I just love camping with my son.  Came home for a day--me and hubby are tag teaming the time--so he has the next few days.  Hope you are inspired by this week's sketch to play along.  Thanks so much to those of you who played along last week! There were only four players so all of you are welcome to add my winner badge to your blog if you so desire.  Thanks again.  Here is this week's sketch...

I used the new Ronald McDonald set from the new catalog for my card.  I also combined it with the Latenightstamper's challenge for the week which is to use lots of layers!  Here is my sample....

Paper: Gumball Green, Polka Dot Parade, DP Whisper White
Ink: Gumball Green, Basic Black, Midnight Muse
Other: markers, Word Window punch,  Modern Label punch

Don't forget you have until Sunday night to play along--add you sample to the linky tool below.  It is a blog hop too so if you add the code to your blog while in HTML mode your readers can play along too right from your blog!
