Situation:

A large, complex low with several embedded fronts and troughs affects New Zealand this weekend. The large, complex low lies over the country for most of the period. On Wednesday the low may move slightly to the east allowing a ridge of high pressure to move onto the southern South Island.

For Hauraki Gulf:
