Hi Everyone

Its Friday and i am so looking forward to a crafty weekend, which will be extended due to the bank holiday.............  and of course its time for a Glitter Geeks blog challenge.  The theme this week is Teddy Bears Picnic so of course i have chosen my favourite bear, Popcorn.  I think on this image he has finished his picnic and is having an afternoon nap.

I've coloured with Spectrum noirs and used some kraft card card and gingham card to matt and layer.  Then i printed the sentiment from word, i love doing this its soooo easy and then just punched a few flowers, simples..........


Your prize will be digis from di's digis and she has such cute images i wish i could win as i am still trying to stick to my crafty diet until 1st june, which is not very far away........

Hi Everyone

This should be a scheduled post so hoping it works as i should be somewhere near or in the Birmingham NEC.

This card is made from the using decoupage and backing papers from the Popcorn birthday CD.  Its in German again as he travelled all the way with Sara for the launch of cd crafting in Germany.  Sara did amazing and it sold out on the first showing so I'm sure we will be seeing some more cards from CD's in Germany coming up.  This one says for fathers day and i did have to use Google translator for this one.  I;ve used cordinations again and my die cut flowers and leaves.

Hi Everyone

Well i am just going to pack my bag ready for my trip with Margaret and Leann.  I am so excited to be going to eh NEC and i cannot do it.  I just cannot leave my credit card behind.  So goodness knows what i will come back with.  I will let you know.


Today i have a another popcorn the Bear card i made for Sara's CD crafting show in Germany.  I have taken inspiration for this card form the crafters companion gallery   and it is one of Leann Chivers cards and when i saw it i thought i would just change it a bit and i think she obviously put more effort into hers than mine as hers is amazing.    I have used backing papers from the popcorn birthday cd and coredinations card.  The front is decorated with photo corners from laina lamb office essential sd card, using my e-craft.  I've just added pearls into  each cut out heart.  The sentiment of course is in German from a popcorn stamp and i think its pretty much explanatory yet i asked Kevin and he said he didn't know?  you can just use your English version or any sentiment you wish, i'm sure you have loads in your crafty stash. I have cut a window in the front of the card using my craft knife.
So when you open the front window up you see an image of popcorn sitting on his little blankie with a gift especially for you.  
 Then as the decoupage has a reverse i was able to add the back of popcorn to the inside of the card on the back of the acetate.  I then used a matching insert from the cd.

Hello Everyone

Well everyone is sharing sneak peeks of Beatrix potter and i am too, just see my previous posts and blog hop.  Leann has arrived at Peterborough for two more paintbox poppets shows live on C&C today at 4pm and 7 and Sara is on shows in Germany.  Sara had a show earlier today re the ultimate and boards and has a show at 3pm she is paint fusioning (i think that means 2pm our time but not sure if i am definitely right).  Then she has a popcorn show at 9pm.  She blogged about this yesterday and you can find out at the Crafters Companion news blog.

I have shown a few of the popcorn samples i made and today i am sharing another of my jigsaws i have made.  I have coloured him with speccies and used backing papers from the CD and 1 of my jigsaw blanks from the handy Hippo.

Hello Everyone

A quick post again as I'm on my way out to go to the Nissan Craft Show with Ross papercraft and i am going to set myself a budget.  However, more importantly for the first time ever i am going to stick to it, I'm determined.  A plus point is i will not be on my own, left to just go wild because Leann Chivers is coming with me and she is very good at keeping me under control.

A couple of popcorn cards today for Sara's shows in Germany.  I don't know how she does it.  She's still at create and craft and I'm sure she will be travelling back then straight of to Germany.  She has so much energy and drive i need some lessons.  Both her and Leann need some well deserved time off i think.

The first one is a get well soon card, in lovely sprig colours to fit in with the daffodils, coloured with speccies.


 And the second one could be used for a fathers day card.


How chilled out does he look!

Hello Everyone

Well i think we all knew what was going to happen didn't we?  Its gone and sold out in the 8.00am show, less then 24 hours of the Pick of the Week being launched.  Oooo and did you hear what Sara sneakily mentioned this morning that there is going to be a cd of the fairy poppets.  I'm sure i heard her say that, or maybe it was wishful thinking.

My project for today is a Popcorn the bear picture as i have been working on samples for Sara's next shows in Germany this coming week where the Popcorn CD is to be launched in Germany for the first time.  They are in for a treat.  I've coloured him in spectrum noirs and i was going to put him on a card but thought i would find one of my picture frames that have been sitting waiting in my cupboard for just the right image.  I have kept it very plain and its just the image.  The picture frame is from ikea and didn't cost very much from what i remember.

Hi Everyone

Another paintbox poppets sneak peek and some fab exciting news re BLOG CANDY from Crafters Companion.

This is my second sneak peek of paintbox poppets and i know you must just be loving them as my card has gone to the second highest rating in my most viewed blogs.  Only my little swalk tea light card is currently beating it.   This time i have used a topper from the cd rom and some coredinations card to matt.  I have also added a bow and a heart metal charm setting using my epiphany heart tool and heart epoxy stickers that i just love as i can make matching embellies.  i just printed a second topper image and used this.

Hi everyone

My first sneak peak of the new range of stamps and CD rom from Crafters Companion.  They will be the Pick of the Week on Create & Craft launching on this coming Friday.  I've just seen some of the other DT members sneak peaks and they are flipping amazing.  Mine will pale into comparison.

My first one a stamped image of a little girl in a chair and i have coloured her with my spectrum Noirs and matted onto coredinations and backing papers from the cd.

 I think you know my style by now so i've kept it quite simple and just added 3 little buttons which are available on cd as well.  I just love this stripey paper and i know this will come in handy for lots of other ranges of stamps.  Thats what i love about Crafters Companion CD roms, there are always lots of papers that can be used with other ranges and images etc.
Don't you just love her, she is sitting making a daisy chain.

Hi Everyone

It's been over a week now since i've blogged as i've just been sooooo busy.  No Christmas shopping done as yet and its only 2 weeks i can't believe it.

Some speccy colouring for you with Popcorn the Bear and papers from the popcorn pals CD, there are some lovely designs that will go with everything.
I love purple and yellow together.
Hopefully it'll not be such a long time til my next post.  I just don't know where the time goes.

My friend Katy gave birth to her third child last Friday, Ruby Jean Keogan,  and I promised myself I would make a card for her so here it is.

I have used an image from the Popcorn kids range but I haven't got the cd that goes with it for backing papers so I used one of the SWALK backing paper CD's.  It just goes to show how versatile stamps and papers from crafters companion are.  This is also my first image using the new Spectrum Noir range of pens and I must say they are lovely to use.  The colour goes on so easy but I think I may need a bit more practice on using it for fur.

I know everyone normally puts which colours they have used but i was so excited to use my new pens i forgot to make a note, however i do know i used the pinks, skin tones, essentials and browns for the image.
