Hey, Chick

Hi everyone!

We are entering the second half of our current challenge at the Dream Factory.

Our Movie:

Chicken Run

Chickens, chicks, ducks, eggs, flowers, colorful or whatever else you can think of,

__________But no Bunnies !!_________

I made the clouds using a homemade stencil and Salty Ocean (Distress Oxide).

To make the straw, I first sponged the area with Fossilized Amber (Distress Oxide) and then used the edges of the ink pad to make strokes in all directions.

I stamped the chicks and colored them with alcohol ink markers. Cut them out and added them to the card.

Stamped the sentiment and added a strip of washi tape to the bottom.

Added some Wink of Stella to the metallic parts of the scooter.

Spring Chicken

Hi everyone!

Time for a new challenge at the Dream Factory

The movie for this month is...

Chicken Run

Easter is coming soon! - But this time without the Easter bunny!

Chickens, chicks, ducks, eggs, flowers, colorful or whatever else you can think of,

But no Bunnies!

For this ATC, I used two of my very oldest stamps - a French hen (wood stamp / Penny Black) and a wire fence (BoBunny).

I stamped the French chicken, colored it with alcohol markers and fussy cut it. Stamped the wire fence on a piece of scrap paper that I had backed with black cardstock. Adhered the chicken and stamped a sentiment (Stampin'Up). Added the Happy Birthday label. That's it!

Katzelkraft - "She was un Easter egg"

Hi everyone!

We have a new challenge at the Day of the Month Card Club - and not only that!!!

This month we are celebrating

National Poultry Day

and also our 3rd Blog Birthday

Poultry is the generic term for all species of birds bred as livestock and suitable for human consumption. It also includes wild birds that are hunted for food.

This means that not only chickens, geese, ducks, chicks can be seen on your projects,

but pigeons, pheasants, partridges... too.

One of our generous sponsors is Katzelkraft. I'm a big fan of their stamps and it's always a huge pleasure for me to use them for my creations - so today was no exception! ...and on top of that, today is my Katzelkraft day!

For this card I was inspired by an image found on Pinterest.

I stamped two chickens, the goose and the house. Colored the fowl with alcohol markers and the house with watercolors. The colorful chicken is from Stampin'Up. The sentiment is stamped with single letters and cut into labels. The background is sponged with Mermaid Lagoon, Mowed Lawn and Wild Honey (Distress Oxide). I added a die cut fence and grass next to the house before adhering the images.

Katzelkraft - Hey Chick's

Hello everyone!

It's Tuesday and I'm back with a new Katzelkraft creation.

It's time to make some Easter cards....

I stamped the Halftones Rond with Wild Honey (Distress Oxide), clear embossed it and then sponged the background with green and blue.

I stamped the hens, the chicks and the goose, colored them and fussy cut them.

The bunny I stamped with Versamark, clear embossed and colored it, and then cut it out.

The sentiment is heat embossed on black labels.

I glued the pieces on and put some shadow under the funny fellows.

Hey chick!

February has passed very fast and it is already time for a new challenge at House of Cards!
As each month, we have an image and / or colors as inspiration for you. - This time it's about creating a scene, and for that I will introduce my chickens, who have recently moved in here! :)

To create my scene, I used colors from the inspiration image (see below)

and the new set from Stampin'Up, which I got at the last sale-a-bration. - Just love it!

The Easter sentiment is from Mia's Stempelküche.

"Chicken Little" -- Reminder

Hi, friends!

Two weeks are over and we could see lot of your stunning works
but please ....do not stop yet,
you still have another fortnight to create something for this nice challenge!!

To remind the topic on Dream Factory, I made these funny Origami chickens

They are so easy to do and can be nicely filled with goodies! -- Really cute for Easter!
My chickens are made with 25 x 25 cm Design paper and once finished, they measure 12,5 x 12,5 cm
-- you also can use 30 x 30 cm paper and get 15 x 15 cm hens ...(for more goodies) ^^

...you want to try them yourself? ....look here ;)
!! But be careful, do not use too thick paper because it tears very easily !!

Fingerprints

Hi friends.

Today starts the new challenge at the Dream Factory and we have a funny movie for the next four weeks.
Perhaps you know "Chicken Little", the young chicken who caused widespread panic when he mistook a falling acorn for a piece of the sky.....

I stamped three little chicks with my inked thumb, and

then I drew the wings, eyes (small punched circles) and beaks with permanent marker.

A bit Washi and some doodles around the image ...and voilà!

Easter is not very far.....
