In The Making

Yesterday Ingo came home with (a new boiler since the old one broke down (and gets fixed by Ingo to serve as a double)) this surprise, wild daffodils (to be).
We also call them Osterglocken, Easter-bells, as they´re in bloom around Easter (which this year will be on April 1st, is that a joke? ;-)...)

Ingo insisted I leave them on the balcony, and, yes, the city has planted some, too...

... so reckon they can stand these temps...

Yes, there is a person sitting by the lake in front of Villa Löbbecke - I´d freeze my butt off not moving in these temps!

It was sunny and here the water looks real green:

1-5C today, partly sunny, off I am soon again.

After a yummy brekkie with:

Funny, btw, I knew Tête-à-Tête in the sense of having a date or refering to Loveseats, but obviously that´s also "Tete a tete, a Daffodil cultivar of Narcissus" (without "^/`") - did you know?
I prefer the love-idea, though, let´s stick our heads (and hearts) together, oui?

They are going to look so pretty on your balcony Iris, that was very sweet of Ingo to bring them for you ☺ daffodils and freesias popping up are surely a good sign that spring is close, I bet you are really looking forward to it. What are you two up to this weekend?

Oh, yes, Grace, I can´t wait for spring, and yes, sometimes Ingo is sweet, too :-)
Hmmm, tomorrow it´s predicted to be rainy, so... not much. Plus... this isn´t Perth, there isn´t that much to choose from, sadly! Hope you´re off better!
