Make A Wish!

On the way to it´s full, yellow life the dandelion risks exactly that, it´s life.
OK, it uses us to make more "babies", but there is a promise!

Pick one.
Make a wish.
And...

... the German word is "Pusteblume" from pusten, to blow.

Take a very deep breath, form a wish... and then help the seedlings fly away, if naked after that the mother-flower grants you a wish!

You don´t need a wish (you can make one for others, too), the plant turns into a real dandelion.
And you can even eat it.

Have a wish? It´s the time of the year here, let me know!

Baby Henry is not so sure what he wants! ;-)

(To Mum, a flower I´m named after, a bit)

Why is it called in Dutch "Paardenbloem" ... paard=horse, bloem=flower?!!!
I know ... I know ... we have to blow into the horse's hole! Hahahahahahaha .... Sorry ... I'm a bit crazy today!
No ... I have no wishes and I'm not going to blaze a "paardenbloem"!
Better I give a kiss to Henry! Can I have a piece of chocolate?
A little BIG hug for you …
How's Hathi doing today? xoxo

We can all do with a wish. And with all the puffy dandelions in my yard, if they came true, I could cure the world!

Love it iris! I really did follow on in making a wish and imagining myself in front of the dandelion for real. We don't have dandelions here but we do have some similar grasses that flower like those during September :)

Iris! Thank you so much for reminding me to check my email! I haven't in a few days HAHAHAHA I'll go straight to it :) Hope you are having a great weekend my dear friend! praying for warmer weather that you and Ingo can walk and stroll to soon (away from people not wearing masks!)

I've never heard of the dandelion wish trick. There are a lot of them out here so I will have to try it!

Iris is a nice name. My friend's name is Florence, so she named her 2 daughters Iris and Heather.

I remember as a kid blowing those seeds around all the time. I loved picking them and blowing away. Never heard of he wish part though.
The wind is quiet now, last night it was howling. Cloudy and 12C
Have a wonderful evening, Iris.

As a child I made hundreds of dandelion wishes but not a single one ever came true. I was so disappointed.
