New Home...

Cant believe its been a week since I last posted but I have been making samples for club night next week but also my mojo went walkouts for a few days and finally yesterday it returned....

I've got quite a few dies in my box that I haven't used so thought it was time I blew the dust off and made something.

I only do one craft fair a year which is in November so need to start topping up my card box and I didn't have any new home ones so this is what I came up with.

For the background I used Tim Holts Brick embossing folder and lightly sponged with grey.

The window die is the Grand Madison Window die and window box is the Grand Flower box...my greenery is more lovely little dies I had from my blogging friend Loll.. the trellis is Memory Box Tessatina, M.B Ivy Trellis and flowers I've punched out.  Also used the SU border punch and SU paper for the window dressing.

Looks like we've got lost the sunshine and back to rain today...

Thanks for looking

Get well.....

Not a lot of crafting has been done this week as we have been quite busy.  Wednesday we went down to Weymouth where the Olympic sailing is taking place, had a brilliant day, the weather was nice and lots of things going on.
Yesterday was spent with our grandchildren down in Taunton where we always have lots of fun but come home exhausted!!
This card I made last week-end and although I haven't made it for our Club paper piecing project I have done more paper piecing using the Memory Box umbrella die...
Not sure where the backing papers are from as its just odd sheets from one of my pads and I dont have the cover any more.. Memory box dies also used are, Circle border and Meridian border.
Off to do more samples cards for our craft meeting next Wednesday.

White on White....

Had lovely day today went to Shepton Mallet craft fair with friends....I didn't think it was a good as previous years but we all managed to spend a few pennies. Bought some new stamps and another Memory Box die beside other bits and bobs...also saw a lovely knitting pattern for a jacket so ended up buying some wool to make it....
I made this card yesterday playing  around with Memory Box dies...using the Poppy, Tulip and Tessatina border die. Embossed a piece of card with a Stampin Up folder before cutting out 2 oval to make a frame.. embossed the flower dies and leaves...
Used some of the waste from the Tessatina die and popped a few pearls on them......Martha Stewart butterfly with a little bit of sparkle on. I've left the sentiment off the card for the moment...
Off to watch the T.V. as I feel a bit 'cream crackered'...

Also entering my card in the Pixie Dust Studio Challenge

Less is More....week 61 Lucky Dip

Chrissie and Mandi over at Less is More have come up with yet another great challenge for us and this week it is Lucky Dip and we have been given a lovely picture for inspiration.
For my card I have used the Memory Box umbrella die and the centre umbrella I've turned upside down and filled with flowers using various small flower punches.
Backing paper is from Papermania Blueberry Hill, corners dies are from Whimsey Stamps.
Sentiment is from Personal Impressions.

Bah Humbug Challenge...45

Well its been almost another week since my last post but now I have finally finished all my commission cards so my time is my own once again.....until the next one!
This week the girls over at Bah Humbug have set us another lovely challenge, this week is a box or a bag..
Last year I made lots of these little boxes which are so easy and quick to make then I filled them with chocolates and sold lots of them at  my craft fair so thought I would make one for this challenge.
The red card has a lovely bauble pattern on it but its so hard to photograph especially as the light is starting to go..  I've used another one of my new Memory Box dies and also I have used the large Marianne poinsettia die which I love, its so quick and easy to do.
Hopefully I will have another card to post tomorrow...
