Fall

Fall is my favourite time of year.  It makes you want to pull out that yarn and make something, anything just so long as it's on your hook.  Yesterday was I Love Yarn day and I only bought one ball of yarn, black to finish off the shrug I've been working on.  I just have to fit it to the person it's for and finish off with the fancy black I got for the edging.  I did manage to make a little pumpkin in between.

Today honey and I went for a lovely nature walk.  It was a bit on the cool side but I don't mind when I get these cuties landing in my hand.

The Vegan thing has been going well.  I've noticed some changes in the fit of clothing and digestion.
I bought my first Vegan face product today at LUSH.  Most of their products are Vegan friendly but the only thing is they are a bit pricey.  I don't mind considering how their made and recyclable container and all. Has anyone else tried LUSH products and if so what one are your favourites?
Hope everyone had a great weekend!!

Time Flies....When You're Crafting

So last week I finished a few things I had been working on.  Above, the knitted chunky cowl that I listed on my Etsy.

I also finished one of two owl stuffy orders.  I should finish the other this weekend.

And with the yummy yarn I got a few weeks back, I started a knitted hat for my honey.  I will also be using a darker a lighter colour in this hat.  I was going to try a cable knit hat but I couldn't find the right pattern. And when I did, it was to knit in the round and I had already started the ribbing edge. I was just going to knit then sew up after. I didn't want to take it apart as the ribbing process is boring enough for me to have to do it again.

I finished the other Earphone pouch last weekend and delivered to the new owners.  Hopefully these youngins will show their friends and request more.

I made a trip to the fabric store today to see what holiday goodies they had in and above is what I got. I found those cute scissors that look like a bird for 1/2 the price. I fell in love with this snowman fabric.   Now to pick a project for it.

More lovely holiday fabric.

I also got these panels from Ebay.  They will make an adorable wall hanging.

And for last weeks nature walk.....

There is a few areas where these cute chickadee's land right in your hand.
Yes, I'm starting to be one of THOSE people, the bird watcher.

HAPPY WEEKEND EVERYONE!!

Keep Calm and Bike On

I've been adding another row of squares to my mood blanket. Slow
but surely.

I'm crocheting a seat cover for my bike.  I have since got a basket and
a mirror. Of course the basket still needs to be decked out with a nice
sewn liner and maybe some crochet mini bunting for the outside.
I will post a picture soon.

I have my first Cath Kidston piece, coin purse.  Her stuff is hard to
come by in Canada but thanks to Ebay.  I also have a purse coming
soon as well.  Such lovely prints she uses.

Last weekend honey and I went for a walk through a nature park.

The deer were out in full force.

Woodpeckers

And the finches were friendly as well.

Happy weekend all!!
