More Cutbacks Though I am not financially wealthy, I value my wealth in other ways; I have brough up my children to be honest, and to fight for their beliefs. People go on about the austerity the Conservatives have imposed on the UK ; this is only because the previous Labour government squandered so much while filling their bank accounts in the EU , which is why they want the UK to rejoin. I am not overly religious, but at times I see a likeness in my life to a story in the Bible, no more so thaan the Parable of the Seven Calves . The pharaoh had a dream about seven fatted calves being followed by seven lean cows which nobody could explain, until one boy said, "The fatted calves show a time of prosperity is ahead, and the lean calves show these years will be followed by a period of drought.
