Ei uskoisi, että tämä kaunis Bodominjärvi kätkee alleen suuren tragedian. 62 vuotta sitten (5.7.1960) täällä tapahtui traaginen murhatapaus. Neljä nuorta, kaksi tyttöä ja kaksi poikaa, oli telttailemassa, ja heistä kolme löytyi raa'asti murhattuna. Toinen pojista oli hengissä. Vaikka tutkimus avattiin uudestaan 2004 ja henkiin jäänyttä poikaa epäiltiin, syyllistä ei ole kuitenkaan koskaan löydetty. Itse olin vain vähän nuorempi kuin nämä nuoret, ja paikka oli Espoossa, siis suht. lähellä silloista kotiani Helsingissä. Se teki asiasta vielä läheisemmän.
One would not believe that this beautiful Lake Bodom hides a great tragedy. 62 years ago, a tragic murder took place here. Four young people, two girls and two boys, were camping, and three of them were found brutally murdered. One of the boys was alive. Although the investigation was reopened 2004 and the surviving boy was suspected, the culprit was never found. In fact, I was just a little younger than these young people, and the place was in Espoo, therefore, quite close to where I lived in Helsinki. It made this happened even closer.

I told the boys what had happened, and of course they wanted to see the place. I knew roughly the location of the object, but based on the images we found on Google, we located this infamous place.
