Hyökyvuoren pysäköintihalli-valmis #10 / Parking garage-Finished

Pysäköintitalo on viimein valmis. Se luovutettiin kaupungille perjantaina 7.2.25.

Ei siitä mikään kaunis tullut.

The parking garage is finally finished.

It was handed over to the City of Espoo on Friday, February 7, 2025.

Nothing beautiful came of it.

Päätyseinät ovat betonielementtiä, julkisivu ja takaosa on reiällistä levyä, josta valo pääsee läpi.

Koristeena (?) säleikköä ja puupanelia. Tuolla edessä on minun kotitalo.

The end walls are concrete elements, the facade and the back part is a perforated plate through which light can pass through. As decoration (?) grille and wooden panel. There is my home in front.

Tässä on n. 360 autopaikkaa. Ja sen on tarkoitus olla uusille tornitaloille (joita ei ole vielä aloitettu rakentamaan) ja heille, joiden autopaikat aikanaan häviää rakentamisen seurauksena. Eli me emme saa paikkaa, mutta meillä on oma parkkihalli hieman kauempana saman kadun varrella. Tällä kadulla on nyt 4 parkkihallia ja kaksi matalaa avopaikkaa.

There are about 360 parking spaces here. And it is intended to be for new tower blocks (which have not yet started construction) and for those whose parking spaces will eventually be lost as a result of construction. So we will not get a space, but we have our own parking garage a little further along the same street. There are now 4 parking garages and two low open spaces on this street.

Vuoden tämä rakentaminen kesti. Nyt vain tuijotamme rumaa taloa,

ja muistelemme sitä vihreyttä, joka hävitettiin.

It took a year to build this. Now we just stare at the ugly house

and remember the greenery that was destroyed.

Hyökyvuoren pysäköintihalli #9 / Parking garage

Koko jouluviikon on "Lontoon bussi" seissyt parkkitalon edessä.

Työt käynnistyy ehkä ensi viikolla tai ensi vuonna.

The "London Bus" has been standing in front of the parking garage all Christmas week.

The work will start again perhaps next week or next year.

Emme saaneet valkoista joulua. Lumi suli päivässä, ja tilalle tuli vesisadetta.

We didn't get a white Christmas. The snow melted in a day, and we got rain and gray.

Hyökyvuoren pysäköintihalli #8 / Parking garage

Pysäköintihalli etenee hitaasti, ainakin katsojan silmissä.

Siitä on yli kuukausi, kun viimeksi postasin, eikä mikään näy paljon muuttuneen.

Nyt aloitettiin julkisivun verhoilu.

The construction of the parking garage is progressing slowly, at least to the eye of the beholder.

It's been over a month since I last posted, and nothing seems to have changed much.

Now the cladding of the facade has begun.

Hitaastihan tuo etenee, jos täytyy kahteen kertaan tehdä sama asia.

It's slow going if you have to do the same thing twice.

Samaan aikaan alkoi alaritilöiden asennus.

At the same time, the installation of the lower grilles began.

Aurinko laskee nyt jo klo 15.13, joten osa töistä täytyy tehdä hämärässä.

The sun sets now already at 3:13 PM, so some of the work has to be done in the almost dark.

Välillä on mentävä ruokatauolle.

Sometimes you have to take a lunch break.

Vielä on paljon tehtävää. Ja pitäisi valmistua joulukuun lopussa... mitä en ihan usko.

Tosin tekivät tällä viikolla myös katutöitä ja asfaltointia.

There's still a lot to do. And it should be finished by the end of December... which I don't quite believe.

Although they also did street work and asphalt paving this week.

Hyökyvuoren pysäköintihalli #7 / Parking garage

Kuukausi on kulunut, eikä mitään ei ole muuttunut ulkoisesti, kun hallissa on tehty sisähommia.

Tämä on parvekkeelta otettu.

A month has passed and nothing has changed on the outside while the interior work has been done

in the garage. This photo is taken from my balcony.

Nämä kuvat on kadulta molempiin suuntiin. Nyt katu on kavennettu yksikaistaiseksi.

Ilmeisesti julkisivun elementtien asennus alkaa.

These pictures are from the street in both directions. Now the street has been narrowed to one lane. Apparently, the installation of the facade elements begins.

Lasiseinän asennusta. Arkkitehdin myönnytys kadonneelle vihreällä puustolle.. heh.

Glass wall installation. The architect's concession to the lost green trees.. heh.

Saadaan pientä "taidetta", kun aurinko heijastaa vastapäisen maiseman vihreään lasiin.

We get a little "art" when the sun reflects the opposite landscape on the green glass.

Tiedoksi, että me emme saa tästä hallista parkkipaikkaa. Tähän tulevat uusien tornitalojen asukkaiden paikat. Ja ne talot on toisessa päässä katua, eikä niitä ole vielä alettu rakentaa. Meillä on oma parkkitalo myös toisessa päässä katua. Tällä kadulla on nyt yhteensä neljä parkkihallia ja kaksi isoa parkkikenttää. Tämä parkkihalli on suurin (5 kerrosta), ne toiset ovat 2-4 -kerroksia.

We do not get a parking space in this hall. This will include the places for the residents of the new tower blocks. And those houses are at the other end of the street, and they haven't been starting built yet. We also have our own parking garage at the other end of the street. This street now has a total of four parking garages and two large parking plats. This parking garage is the largest (5 floors), the others have 2-4 floors.

Hyökyvuoren pysäköintihalli #6 / Parking garage

Vastapäinen parkkitalo on nyt harjakorkeudessa. Muutamaan viikkoon ei juuri ole näkynyt muutoksia julkisivussa, vaan on keskitetty sisätilojen rakentamiseen.

The parking garage across the street is now at the finished height.

For a few weeks, hardly any changes can be seen in the facade.

Now the focus is on building the interior.

Luultavasti sadevettä ruiskutetaan ulos.

Probably rain water is spraying out.

Öisin on valot päällä, joten tuota taloa ei voi koskaan unohtaa.

At night, the lights are on, so you can never forget that house.

Hyökyvuoren pysäköintihalli #5 / Parking garage

Parissa viikossa parkkihalli on taas kasvanut. On tullutetuseinän rungot ja kerroksiin lattiat.

In two weeks, the parking garage has grown again.

The frames of the front wall and the floors of the layers have been built.

Elementeillä saa nopeasti aikaan.

When you build completely with elements, it's ready quickly.

Tässä oli kiva kävelytie. Saa nähdä tuleeko takaisin.

There was a nice footpath here. We'll see if it comes back.

Hyökyvuoren pysäköintihalli #4 / Parking garage

Panoraama parvekkeeltani. Onneksi katupuut on vielä edessä. Nyt rakennus on harjakorkeudessa.

The view from my balcony. Fortunately, there are still street trees ahead. Now the building height is ready.

Kohta rakennetaan etuosa umpeen. Silloin nosturi siirtyy kadulle ja liikenne vaikeutuu.

Soon the front part will be built. Then the crane will move to the street and the traffic will be difficult.

Hyökyvuoren pysäköintihalli #3 / Parking garage

Kaksi viikkoa kulunut, kun viimeksi postasin tätä parkkitaloa. Se nousee aika nopeasti. Vielä yksi kerros ainakin tulee lisää. Kuvat on otettu minun parvekkeelta. Onneksi kadun vaahterat vielä vähän suojaa.

It's been two weeks since I last posted about this garage. It goes up pretty quickly. There will be at least one more layer. The pictures were taken from my balcony. Fortunately, the street maples still provide some protection.
