Sveitsi / Switzerland 10 – Retki Rigi vuorelle / A trip to Rigi mountain (3/3)

Vaellus jatkuu edelleen, ja saimme katsella unohtumattomia maisemia.

The hike is still going on, and we got to watch and experience unforgettable scenery.

Kyllä se nuorempikin huilaa mielellään, vaikka verhoaa sen maiseman katseluksi.. :)

Yes, the younger one also likes to rest, even if she says just to look at the scenery .. :)

Pieni paussi eväiden syömiseen. Jotain yhteistä, grillikatos ei juuri poikkea kotimaisesta vastaavasta.

A small break for snacks. Something in common, a barbecue place is not much different from ours.

Lempieläimeni Sveitsissä. Lehmiä näkee lähes joka puolella. Ja toiset on jo tottuneet kuulemaan huudahduksiani "Hei, katsokaa, lehmiä". Niitä kun en juuri näe Etelä-Suomessa

My favorite animal in Switzerland. You can see cows almost everywhere. And others are used to hearing me exclaim "Hey, look, cows". I hardly see them in Southern Finland.

Lenkin varrella nähtiin myös vähän eksoottisempikin eläimiä.

A little more exotic animals were also seen along the walk.

Ylhäällä oli pieni kappeli, joka tietysti piti katsastaa.

There was a small chapel at the top that I had to check out - of course.

Isoa lepoa varten iso penkki. / A big bench for a big rest.

Matka jatkui alaspäin kondolivaunulla...

The journey continued downwards on the gondola...

... ja loppumatka ihan alas taas ratasjunalla. Ja sitten kotiin kahdella tavallisella junalla.

Kaikki kiva loppuu aikanaan, mutta oli todella huippukiva kokopäivä.

Ja nyt suljen Sveitsin kuvamuistelot.

... and the rest of the way down on the cogwheel train. And after that home with two ordinary trains.

Everything nice comes to an end, but this was a really great day.

Huipulla oli myös niittyä, josta löytyi kivoja kuvauskohteita.

There was also a meadow at the top, where you could find a nice objects to photograph.

Niin Sveitsiä, niin Sveitsiä ! / So Switzerland !

Hauska vihjaus eri reitin kuntovaatimukselle.

A fun tip for the different route's fitness requirements. Sveitsissä reitin pituus ilmoitetaan aina ajalla,

eli kuinka monta minuuttia tai tuntia reitti kestää.

Voi vain arvata millaisella kävelyvauhdilla kesto on määritelty.

In Switzerland, the length of the route is always indicated in time. i.e. how many minutes or hours

the route takes. You can only guess at what walking speed the duration has been defined.

Lähdimme patikoimaan ja valitsimme tuon kolmen tunnin matkan. Ensin oli hieman alamäkeä, ja luulinkin, että reitti vie alas. Mutta toisin kävi, lähes koko matka oli lievää ylämäkeä. Reitin oli maisemareitti. Koko ajan näkyi toinen toistaan upeampia maisemia, välillä näkyi järvi, välillä loputon vihreys, ja vuoria ja kukkuloita oli joka puolella.

We startted our hiking and chose the three hour trip. First it was a bit downhill, and I thought the route was going down. But it turned out differently, almost the entire journey was a slight uphill. The route was a scenic route, the whole time you could see more wonderful landscapes, sometimes a lake, sometimes endless greenery and mountains and hills was on every side.

Ei käynyt kateeksi. Sillä lämmin ilma oli jo saavuttanut meidät.

I didn't get jealous. Because the warm air had already reached us.

Muutama tällainen junavaunu nähtiin. Niitä saa hankittua vapaa-ajan asunnoksi tai ihan miksi vaan.

Niissä oli pyörätkin jäljellä.

We saw a few such train cars. You can get them as a leisure apartment or for anything else.

They also had wheels left.

Pieni lepo ei ole koskaan pahitteeksi.

A little rest is never a bad thing.

Suurimman osan ajasta olimme vain me - yksin suunnattomissa jylhissä maisemissa.

Most of the time it was just us - alone in the endless landscapes.

Sveitsi / Switzerland 8 – Retki Rigi vuorelle / A trip to Rigi mountain (1/3)

Lützern.

Viimeiseksi jätin Sveitsin tarinoista tämän ihanan reissun (3-osainen) .

Teimme kokopäiväretken Rigi vuorelle (sijaitsee Lützern järven rannalla), jonka huippu Rigikalm kohoaa 1748 metriin. Tarkoituksena oli tehdä vuorella pitkä kävelylenkki. Ensin lähdimme aikaisin aamujunalla Lützerniin, josta laivalla Rigin juurelle.

Finally to Swiss stuff, this lovely trip (3-part).

We made a full-day trip to Rigi mountain (located on the shore of Lützern lake), whose peak Rigikalm rises to 1748 meters. The purpose was to take a long walk on the mountain. First we went early in the morning by train to Lützern, from there by boat to the foot of Rigi.

Sartamassa nousimme ns. hammasratasjunaan, joka vei kohtisuoraan huipulle.

Oli mielenkiintoinen osuus. Matkalla oli muutamia asemia rinteellä.

In the harbor we continued our journey to the so-called on a cog train that went perpendicular to the top. It was an interesting part of the trip. There were a few stations on the slope on the way.
