Brown anole

We sat in the sun by the pool one day last week and I saw Bob's Pet that feeds at Bob's Lizard Buffet, run out of the ferns and grab something Big.. I ran over to see and she was eating a worm that was almost as big as she was. She was so tiny, it was hard to get a good photo..

Bob Buffet is created as he walks around in the pool, and skims what ever is floating on top of the water with a net, he bangs the net on the concrete to make it fall out.

At the first sound of the tap on the deck, the 3 lizards dart out and peer over the lip of the pool, waiting for The Buffet of Bugs...

 We get  much enjoyment watching them, watching him and waiting for the buffet dinner bell.

Liam got his tail back, who knows how. I checked on line and it takes 60 days for an anole to regenerate the tail, the original tail has breaks, so they can drop it and get away from Jakeosaurus Jake. They can only grow a new tale once.
Male anoles have a pink colored throat fan (called a dewlap), which is used in both territorial and courtship displays.

Come over here, Lady Lizard, all iguana do is hold your hand foot. brahaha

If you don't remember Liam minus his tail, scroll to bottom of this link, it was gone . It disappeared the first part of April and now 2 months later Voila.... almost back to normal. SORRY FOLKS, this is all I got.... I live under a ROCK...… maybe that is why we love our lizards.

In a prior post you met Liam Lizard, resident of my zebra striped bathing suit condo. Sunday, I noticed he was on the wall luring Lina Lizard into his Lair.. I decided to swap the polka dot condo suit and see if he would move into it. Above you will notice, the white straps of the suit, suited him just fine. It appeared it was Location! Location! Location! and not the stripes, he loved the dots.

As I grabbed the striped suit, I held it open to check for other Lizards and started to shriek at Bob who was in the pool, LOOK! LOOK AT THIS!   What to my wondering eyes had appeared????

NOT ONE BUT Two friends had moved into Liam's Condo turning it into a TIMESHARE!!!


Can you see him now???? I have played for two days with these two frogs who took up residence in the Zebra Stripe Timeshare....


I believe they are two of the tadpoles grown up... and Monday AM I found they are female and male because they were on the ledge of the window making whoopee and at 4 AM I had to stand guard to protect them from the Jakeosaurus dog that was hunting them... After the sun came up they are GONE, but will be back when it rains again. The two of them stayed inside the suit all day Sunday.

He or She was highly indignant that I the MadSnapper was causing earthquakes to shake their time share.

Meet Lyle . .... Larry and Liam live in the backyard.  They all have the same surname, Lizard. We only name the big males, because there are 87 million females. Back in 2013 we names Larry's significant other Lizzie, but lost track of her.

the wild and wooly, black and fuzzy, evil looking spider the size of a plate quarter,  that sat in the middle of my bathroom floor.

I Did not call Bob The Spider Killer but I did it myself.

How can myself be So smart So Stupid?

The murder occurred at bedtime, and I sprayed the bathroom corners with peppermint spray. Spiders hate peppermint. So do my sinus cavities. I had to close the bathroom door in order to sleep through the night.

So Smart So stupid. Bob is to..... We have lizards, thousands of lizards in our yard. The Big Guy is what we call the one that lives under the broom, that stands over our outside fake croc shoes.  The Big Guy is so named because he is about 6 inches long from nose to tail.

Bob left the yard, feet ensconced in fake crocs, to carry limbs out to the road.  On the way back he thought, my foot must be swollen, my right shoe is to tight. He stops, kicks off the fake crocs and looks at his foot, which is not swollen at all. The Big Guy that lives under the broom, that leans on the wall, over the shoe, was IN the shoe when he put it on and The Big Guy rode inside the shoe out to the road.  Bob had no idea. The Big Guy survived but no longer lives in the back yard under the broom, but in the front yard under who knows what.

Would you feel this guy if he was IN YOUR SHOE????
I can tell you I would feel a lizard in my shoe... and guarantee you would hear the scream where ever you are in this wide world.

I was sitting at a traffic signal, shooting through windshield.. This No Trespassing sign is on an Optical Shop. As I waited I pondered, if I can't trespass how do I get in the shop????

I found this lizard on Unsplash and he now resides as my monitor desktop image. These photos are legal to use and to play with.   You can add quotes to them for FB or other places. I will always say where I got the photos when I use them.

This big guy is about 4 to 5 inches long and lives on our wall just above Jake's Jaws... We are avid lizard watchers and have never seen Tommy Two Tails before. I have contacted our local Circus and am waiting to here if they have a place for him. Also waiting to see how much he is worth...HE HE HE

Bob is out with the dog, the house is empty and quiet, I am propped in bed with the laptop on, of all places my LAP....
I find a recipe on FB for my new crock pot.... I copy paste into email and send to myself.

Fast forward 30 minutes... I see email with recipe, click print.  I startle when I hear a noise in the front bedroom. What was that?

The Fence and the bucket garden  Doctor Update from today... Pinched nerve KNEW THAT, weak leg KNEW THAT, osteoarthritis in lower back KNEW THAT, Take Aleve twice a day and wait until the insurance company approves an MRI KNEW THAT.. Plus he said to do all the exercises I have been doing since last December NOW I KNOW IT IS OK TO CONTINUE.
