Good News,Bad News

BAD News:Bob has hives from the drug and a rash,
my biopsy on my foot came back squamous carcinomas, appt on Nov 7 to discuss treatment. I am sure she will do chemo cream because it is on nothing but skin and bone and no room to cut anything out.
I continue to lose weight, which is a concern.

Good News: You may remember the chaos caused by 8 alarms set on the phone. 10 days are up, meds are gone, the 2nd photo is after I went on organizing mode, and below is NOW. All but 2 alarms are turned off, 5am 5 pm.
We are back to almost NORMAL for us.

I am slightly OCD, and I decided I had to make the house back as close as it was 7 months ago, 3 months since the hospital bed moved in the living room.

In a frenzy, I cleaned off shelves in to closets, tossed and tossed and set up a nurse station in the bedroom and living room, each with only what I use each day and night. Bob uses living room in day and bedroom at night. I duplicated each room with  bedside commodes and all supplies are off the bed and out of sight in closets.

The spare bedroom bed was stacked high with all the boxes of supplies, the huge basket of STUFF that belonged to the infusion nurses is now gone. Jamie the RN went in the bedroom and went through the huge 4 infusion left overs and put only what they need in a small box and it fits in the closet. She took all the things to donate to the dog shelter surgical center.. and this time when the meds come, they will come Only RX no supplies needed.

UPDATE Bob and now ME

ME first... Because I spend the majority of my time on my feet, taking care of the three of us, my veins have gotten much worse on my right foot and swells until I sit down and prop them up.  In the midst of the Infusion Chaos, which has shown no improvement yet, my Third Keratoacanthoma Skin Cancer (volcano cancer) in 14 months decided to erupt 3 hours before the doctors shut down for the 3 day week end of the 4th. The 2nd day of Bob's infusion, I went to my primary, because we need a referral this year and did not last year. The PA said it was infected sore, I said it is a carcinoma and I need a referral, she gave me antibiotics and salve, and said come back in a week. I WAS IN  PAIN. the meds helped but only a little.

The phone rang and it was the appt girl from primary doctor calling me, and she said Sandra do you still want the referral to dermatologist, I said yes please, I know what this is. 20 minutes later the phone rang and for the first time in my health history it was my Primary Doctor, Dr. B and she said, Sandra Tell me what is going on with you.
I did and she said, I am sending the referral now, call them in 30 minutes and get in as soon as  you can, I called and they said be here today at 4:30, and I was and she cut it off and sent the biopsy off and now we wait to work through the needle with chemo in it that will make it stay gone and die.
If you care you like details, the label Volcano Cancer tells of on on Shin bone, May, 2024 and another right after hurricane Milton in Oct 24 and now this one on my wrist
3 Volcanoes in 14 months. The chemo kills them and they fall off.
While all this was going on with ME Bob bullied his way into the pool that all the nurses and pts said do not go in and sprained his ankle and now he can not walk and we missed his 7 am doc appt because he could not get in the car.
I have yet to get through to the doctor, so we are waiting.
Its almost 9 and I have 4 calls to be made to Doctors, Lawyers and Indian Chiefs.

Bobcat

When the BOBCAT moved into our yard, the yard was beautiful, I fell in love with it and  told the tree boss I wanted one.
I had so much fun watching it, not even thinking it would leave yards destroyed

They took out the stump that we used for our flowers and plants. dragged the ancient  TWO tractors that Bob has been going to repair since 2015 into the front yard, leaving huge gouges. When they put them back, they were not where they promised, back where they were and Bob had to struggle to move them.

the tree is at the curb, the stump is at the curb, and we are left in the biggest mess ever since we moved in 35 years ago. Tomorrow, I will show you how and what I am doing to the back yard
your last view of our Tree

Goodbye sweet stump, holder of our potted plants, which by the way were destroyed by the bobcat even though I removed them. The3 palms survived because they were on opposite side of the stump

and on the other hand....

OUR  BIOSPY RESULTS ARE HERE

Bob's biopsy came back, as his 5th Melanoma since 2017, this is the 2nd one in 6 months and she said it traveled from the one removed in January. She said this one is .7 and the others were skin only and less than .1. After .8 they will have to check lymph nodes.

My biopsy came back as Keratoacanthoma, better known as Volcano Cancer. This is the link to my post 6 months ago when I had Keratoacanthoma removed and now it is on the left leg, same spot as this one was on the right leg.  She is trying to get the chemo shot approved. Pray the insurance will approve it as the surgery will be hard to do on the shinbone, there is no meat there to cut.
I am so blessed it came on the leg. to see the horrors of where it can come, is well, a horror. Nose, eyelids, lips OY VEY! click HERE.

Welcome to My Good Day!!!!

At 2:50 AM we had a downpour and received the much needed 3/4 inches of rain. The TV said this,
Drought to deluge, budding tropical rainstorm to soak Florida, the rain came down, and I did happy dance. I walk Beau at 6;15, the rain stopped. and showed MORE on the way on my radar app. We got the morning walk in, I went to my dermatologist appt at 8:15 was back home by 8:30 and got the
All Clear on the Skin Cancer and came to create this post, it 9:19 and look what is almost here.
More Rain! and I was able to do walk and doc visit before the next wave. It will be around off and on the rest of the week.
Thank you Lord for the cancer result and your blessed rains.

I whipped out the cell phone and took two photos, popped into PicMonkey and this is the end result of What MadSnapper did while waiting in lobby for five minutes.... JUST FOR YOU and of course for ME

Volcano Eruption!

Dermatologist stabbed me with a needle full of chemo exactly 2 weeks from today, right in the center of the Squamous Carcinoma K something or other AKA Volcano Cancer .
It did nothing, it did not hurt, did not know it was there until yesterday it woke me up aching at 2 am.
At 8 A.M, Wed, June 5th I pulled off my dog walking clothes and walked all over the bedroom and inot the bathroom to shower, and realized there was blood on the white rugs. My leg was pouring a fountain of blood down and all over the bedroom, 10 spots. ov vey. the piece that I found on the floor was the size of a pencil eraser and very dry and wrinkled..
Doc said it would go away in 2 wees and it did and for that I AM THANKFUL.
I wiped and held pressure and bathed and put a band aid on and it is fine.. a small puncture about the size of the pencil lead.
Murphy's law added a little excitement. I stepped out of the shower and had just dried off, still bleeding and heard Bob yelling down the hall, Willie is knocking on the door, he has his dog.  I don't know what he wants.
let me get this off my chest please.. @#$%!@#$%^^#$##@@@$%%^
Thanks for listening. I opened the door in a dampest MUMU with wet hair and he wanted to know if we had a hydraulic jack, his son had a flat and wanted to change a tire.. I love Willie and I love his dog and I love to talk to him, but I was to say the least FLUSTERED.
Turns out we have one but it does the same thing his does which is fall when the car is in the air. I pointed him to the house of 7 cars and he went over there.
LIFE we gotta LOVE it!

Both graphics were created in Procreate on ipad and I have no idea how the PEN i was using got in the screen shot... who cares.. I did the black and white JUST BECAUSE

Cancer Update

The Appt with dermatologist has come and gone! I am shouting Hallelujah!
No cutting, because of where it is, on the middle of the shin bone, and how big it is, she shot it full of Chemo and sent me home. She said it should be gone in 2 weeks and I go back for her to check it in 3. She said if the chemo doesn't work, we will DISCUSS options.
Please pray with me there will be no discussion and this little squamous carcinoma keratoacanthoma, also called Volcano Cancer, will be gone when i go back on June 11.
thanks for all your prayers.  No cuts, no blood, no bandages, no sleepless nights. She said the only side effect might be red skin. 🤞🤞🤞
My shoulder is better, I just have to watch the time I am online for a while... I don't have to type to create, I have about 8 in drafts.
Garage Band is on HOLD... I feel stupid and trying to prove I am not will ruin my shoulder. But I can

Freeform First Try..

Two weeks, one day, after biopsy that found Squamous Carcinoma AKA Volcano Cancer
You can see it is not healing well. You can also see the painful varicose veins and that the volcano is right on top of one of the biggest of them all.
Instructions were, to aleve pain, prop your feet up when sitting, 30 minutes twice a day, lay with feet above your heart, this mean bed, we own no recliner.
Doc says exercise, heat/ice/bruise cream with chestnut because I can't stand to wear the hose.

Some of you  might remember the ottoman that was moved to the curb last week. I got creative.

Monday, I dragged the kitchen step stool tot my end of the sofa, piled STUFFuntil it was the right height, had bob measure the height. The hunt is on for a footstool.

I placed my kindle reading pillow desk in my lap and the iPad fits perfectly.

I started POKING icons that came in the device, to see what they do... WOOT! WOOT!
This one is called Freeform. I wrote my name and drew a heart with my finger, yet another WOOT!
and I dragged and dropped and drew and well, Played like I used to as a child.
from 5 years old, I loved to Draw, color, cut, paste, read and write! all on one little screen.
At my age I have reverted to a younger age and now am fast approaching childhood again.

I could not find a way to save my ART except to save as PDF and SHARE by link with whomever. I want to put it on my blog, not send someone a link.. I found Apple Support and they said get over it, this will not save as anything but PDF, just do a screen print.

While playing I read a post from, Ann of SnapEditScrap that gave me the answer. Ann's  POST and she had made a drawing on paper and wanted it on her blog, so she simply aimed the cell at it and it became a jpeg...OY Vey!

Yes, I know this is tacky and not true ART but why make a beautiful creation if  I can't post it. Now that I know I can add a sticker giraffe, and draw with the digital pen I ordered to Play with, you KNOW What is coming.

Keratoacanthoma

Volcano Cancer, she said Whoaaaaaa when she walked in the door. the cancer was as big as a dime, much worse than the one above that I found on line. her eyes went to it like a magnet. she said that is a volcano cancer, Keratoacanthoma.. they call it that because one day it is not there, and suddenly there is a small scaly spot, and Boom it blows up into a volcano, and they are really painful. I said tell me about it

since it is on my shin bone, I chose to watch what she did. She circled it, added 4 X marks and took an electric scapel that made no sound, had no blade, just like the one at the top of the row below. It looked like a crooked pencil, it sliced that puppy out in 10 seconds flat. I felt nothing, except the needle when id sprayed the wonder drug that kills all feeling into the leg. She warned that shins bleed a lot and asked if I knew how to hold pressure. Yes I do, I was a CNA in Dialysis unit for a year way back when.

The good news is, I have had no pain, it did not bleed, except on the bandage and and now I wait and hope she got it all so I don't have to do this again. I am allergic to adhesive, and the itch from the bandage was the only thing that bothered me. I happen to remember another surgery, they slid a stretch bandage over it and gave me the rest of the roll.

Keratoacanthoma AKA Volcano Cancer. It is in the family of carcinomas LINK here shows photos of this volcano if you want to know what to look for. if you hate ugly things do not click the link
