Found Foto Fodder - top of the tower

On top of the tower, I found this hat and glasses, just sitting there.

Each corner of the tower has a hand carved wooden decorations and on the lighter side.....

How could the dolphin afford to buy a house?
He prawned everything!

on the tower was this solar panel, we have no idea why, maybe electric outlet somewhere on the tower.

I AM TAKING THE WEEK END OFF TO CATCH UP ON HOUSEWORK AND A LITTLE R & R

Robinson Preserve - All in a Row

Robinson Preserve - All in a Row from the top of the five story tower.

On top of the tower there were these two men in there chairs with laptops and walkie talkie radios. After straining my ears to hear what they were saying, because i was chicken to ask them....

I figured it out. I was told there have been two men flashing women on the trails, these guys were tracking and talking with a female on the ground, when we left there was a police car hidden in the bushes. SOOOO, I have deducted they were doing a sting. Just a guess but I think I am right. (I always AM! right I mean)

Macro Monday @ the preserve

The paths in Robinson Preserve are lined with these yellow flowers, I am not sure if the flowers close and make these pods or if the pods make the flowers. but they sure were beautiful.

UPDATE...Peanut Recall, added 500 products. CHECK HERE

UPDATE from Mamabug comment. these plants are called Rattlebox and these are Shake Shake and are on the Florida invasive plants.... so not desirable, but they are pretty

So much beauty, so little time

Robinson Preserve -Tidal Basin

Four views of the tidal basin from the top of the tower.

A tidal basin is land that was not covered by the tides, but is man made to accept the tides. Robinson preserve was a 487 acre farm left to the state by the owner, with instructions in his will that it would  be  turned into a tidal basin to preserve for the Eco system and to create a bird preserve.

NO, I did NOT look straight down, I shot the below straight down by standing back and shooting blind.

Below are shots of the tidal basin from the ground. For more info and a slide show on the Tidal Basin CLICK HERE

Robinson Preserve - SOOTC

I am joining SOOTC today, All Photos today SOOTC (out of the camera, no edits) Above photos were taken in bright sunlight from the top of the below tower. You can see it was bright and blue skies. the Silvery Moon effect was cause by shooting INTO the sun.

The amazing thing is the fact MadSnapper who is afraid of heights climbed to the top. I assure you  I never got close to the rail I was holding the camera out straight armed a foot back so i could not see straight down.  The Above photos taken with point and shoot Nikon. the tower is 40 feet high and the path was another 40 feet from the bottom of the tower.
Guess what Hubby was doing???

LEANING ON THE RAIL!!!!

Robinson Preserve -All in a Row

Robinson Preserve Boardwalk
Thursday All In a Row, photos taken in 2008 the week they opened to the public and  before I started blogging, I found these when adding the new preserve pics....

Sandra TIP.... in the produce department, when opening a plastic bag for your produce, don't lick your thumb but rub it on the milk jug or on a  bag of frozen veggies, the bag will open easily and NO germs.
