Everyday we are exploring two or more little bays/chasms/natural pools. Some are great to see tropical fish and coral, others are good for... snakes! They are poisonous, yes, but not really dangerous because they are not aggressive, so you can swim with them, and you know what? They are actually really really cute! Some popped their little heads up and I could see their eyes! Growing up in the mountains with vipers (in Italy), and now living in one of the few countries that doesn't have snakes (New Zealand), I never felt comfortable with these reptiles, but the Niue sea snakes are different :-).
