Evening out.

The other Friday evening we went and had dinner at Grindelwald about 20 minutes from home.
There is a restaurant and shops within the area below.
The meal was delicious and there were four cousins and partners, just a nice gathering.
First photo was when we arrived the remainder as we came out of the restaurant.  The time is wrong on the clock.

Grindelwald-2

Views from around the Lake at Grindelwald continued.  The Chapel is sweet and I've been to about 2 Weddings there, one as a photographer for a relative (yes, photos turned out good).  There is that bridge which needs repairing and was done several years later.

Grindelwald-1

Grindelwald is a rural residential not far from Launceston, Tasmania, Australia and it's about 15 km north, slightly to the west.  Population is about 970 people.

The late Rolf Vos who owned several supermarkets in and around Launceston some years ago, now Woolworths visited Sweden so built a village called Grindelwald based loosely on the Swiss style but to suit Tasmania.  There is a putt putt golf course,18 hole golf course,  shops, restaurants, Hotel/Motel, Chapel, retirement Chalets and a Lake within the village and so on.

Grindelwald. Tasmania.

More of Sunday's photos at Grindelwald, Tasmania. Australia.
I was pleased with the reflections.

Looking towards the shops, the putt putt and barbecue area.

The Spinning Water Wheel...at least it's sharp!

The Chapel and reflection.  There used to be swans in this lake, alas I didn't see any this time.

Bridge and a nice reflection.

The Bridge which was when I took the Wedding Photos was broken, thank goodness it's repaired.

The end of the Lake.

The Chapel, (back and side) and Lake

Sweet little Chapel. I did the photography for a Wedding here a couple of years ago.

Photos of a Sunday drive.

It's always nice to go for a drive on a Sunday especially after a frost because it's usually a beautiful day.
We went today and I took my new DSLR with me for a practice run.... I took 117 photos and was in my glee!

The Lake at Grindelwald.

The Entrance to the shopping area.
