MFT Teasers....day 5

So, how long is your list??? Long and big, I'm sure.  Well, I hate to say it (who am I kidding...no I'm not. LOL!) but your list is about to get longer.  We still have a few more days left to tempt and tease you with. Today is our à la mode day. I love them!
Here are the details about the upcoming release on September 6 at 10 PM EST:

  • The MFT release is on September 6 at 10 PM EST. You can attend the release party from 8-10 PM EST here in the forum for fun, games, and prizes! All the new sets and dies will be available September 6 at 10 PM EST.
  • The guest designer contest is ON! Check out the forum for details on how YOU can win over $100 in stamp sets and play along with the DT for a month.
  • If you'd like to see all the teasers for today, please click on over to Kim's blog NOW! Be sure to leave comments as you go for a chance to win one of 2 $10 vouchers being given away daily, just for leaving a comment. :) Starting this month, you’ll have all week to comment on each of the posts – all the winners will be posted on Tuesday, September 6th around 7:30pm.  Be sure to check the MFT Blog to see if perhaps YOU were one of our lucky FOURTEEN winners! Remember to leave a method of contact in your comments, because if you’re selected as a prize winner, but we can’t reach you, then we can’t get you your prize! .
Don't you love that we are stretching out the teaser post days a bit. It gives each of the new sets an extra bit of time to let them shine before release day.  I love that these gals have a day all to themselves! This month the two à la modes are called: Blue Without You, and Talk Nerdy to Me. I've got one of each to show off today. First up, my blue card.  I just had to reach for my beautiful Authentique blue paper pad.
A simple layout, but I really wanted to who off the sweet, saluting girl. I thought the dog tag die-namic was a perfect fit for this hero card.

I cut a piece of saraha sand cardstock and then used the direct to paper technique with my silver encore ink pad....I dig the metallic look it gives the tag. I stamped the sentiment right on top. I tied it up with some stone twine. Check out that twine.....YES!!! new colors of twine are in stock. Be sure to add 1 or 4 to your cart on Tuesday night.
Then I carried over some of the same design elements to the inside of my card, and used another sentiment. I added a row of the star border die-namic.

Moving on the the nerdy set (yes, I admit, I'm a bit of a nerdy gerdy at times....aren't we all? LOL!). I don't know what it is about this set, but I just adore it!  I think it might have something to do with my obsession with office supplies and lined/ledger paper (this is new from SU). Whenever I get a chance I use it and I'm always drawn to it. I think the notebook edge die-namic is one of my most LOVED dies.
I was inspired by this past week's WSC sketch. I used the twine (here in lilac) the same way I did with my sample. I love that twine adds texture and pretty bows without all the bulk of a ribbon.  I did the sentiment up on the new ticket tab (I've also been playing with my neglected ticket corner punch-how fun! I missed that one) and also used the pretty Prima Donna Petals again.

Hope you enjoyed todays peeks.  More to come tomorrow.
Kim's blog has the teaser line up. Stop on over there for all the details.

day two....à la mode sneak peek!

It's the second day of the MFT mid-month release, à la mode sneak peeks. You won't be able to resist today's cutie, either! The set is called You Are Unrepeatable.

I ♥ my ipod! I'm sure most of you do....it's "THE BIG GIFT" for our kids right now. My oldest got his own Nano for his birthday and now my middle guy is already asking for one for Christmas.
I created a cute little pocket card (I used real denim to cut out the pocket) to hold an iTunes gift card, but couldn't find one in my house anywhere...so my Joshua says, "hey mom. My iPod fits in the pocket." AND.....that's what we used for this photo. I think it would be a great way to give the actual gift.

Either way...Pretty Pocket is a must have, it's just too cool! and so is this new à la mode. A couple other die-namics you'll spy are the new Film Strip and the medium simply scallops border.

The button is attached to a paper pieced flower from the Pretty Pocket set and the HB2U is from the You Are Unrepeatable set. I stamped it on the fishtail flag from First Place Award Ribbon set. Seriously LOVE those die-namics....you can cut it down to any size. Some Twine finishes it off!

Off you go. Check out Kim's blog to see who's all sharing peeks today!

à la modes - I've Met My Match

Over in My Favorite Things land we are quickly approaching our mid-month release. Tomorrow night our VIP kit will be up for sale along with 2 new super chic à la modes.  Here's a peek at the first cutie.
Set your drink down.....take a seat for this one.... I don't want you to spill or fall down when you see just how stinkin' cute she is.

The set is called-I've Met My Match! I'm not even a tennis player and I adore her.

I stamped her on Copic x-press blending card stock with Momento ink and  colored her with copics.  I couldn't help by pile on the die-namics.... I always do, don't I??!!!

I used some of the extra wide twill ribbon to cut my pretty posies.

Do you have a ton of that size left over and feel like it is too wide to use on most cards?? It works great to cut with may of the MFT die-namics.  You might need to trim a few of the threads to release it from the actual die, but I love the rustic/home made feel of them. I even spritzed the smaller flower with some Glimmer mist to match my paper.

I also used the new Leafy Flourish, a dainty dots border (in hot fudge!) and stamped the sentiment on half of the Textile Rectange die-namic. It's all mounted up on the dee-lish whip cream cardstock!

Kim has the line up of today's bloggers! Check it out! and I'll see you back here tomorrow for another sweet à la mode!

MFT WSC17...Perk Up

Another week, another sketch....love this. Have you  been playing along? You have a chance to win some MFT $$ just by using the sketch.
This week I pulled out the Like You A Latte à la mode. She was the perfect size for that skinny panel. Some Sno Cone cs, cappunino twine, a Pretty Posey die-namic flower and this card was quick to come together.
Oh, wait, I almost forgot, the cute shape for the sentiment. It is the Textile Rectangle Label die-namic. It's such a great size and I love using only half of the labels to show of a sentiment.

Kim's Blog has the full line up from the Challenge Team and the participating DT member. Check it out. You can also join in on some chit chat over in the MFT Forum on SCS.   It's almost Teaser Time!!!!!

This next à la mode comes at the perfect time....it's for all those Grads in your life. There's something about her that just screams Fabulous! Tonight is our VIP blog hop and with the MFT VIP kit, you'll be able to also purchase the 2 new à la modes.

Here's a look at what I did with  Grad Girl!
I loved my color combo from yesterday's card, so I used it again on today's card. You'll see the beautiful Open Scallop Doily tucked behind her and the sentiment.  I also added more of those Stacking Stars. I prettied it up with more of the yellow Perfect Plaid ribbon and some crochet ribbon, too!

Stop by Kim's Blog to see the line up for today's Teaser Posts then I'll see you back here tonight for the reveal of this month's WTG!

MFT....à la mode Teaser Time!

It's almost time for our mid-month release with My Favorite Things! A new VIP kit and 2 new à la modes will be available for purchase at 10 pm on April 19th. Today we're sharing peeks of the super cute Dream Big à la mode. You'll love her...how can you NOT!
I stamped her on x-press blending cs, colored with copics and cut her out using the "out of box" technique.  I kept her very simple, since I used the large 3/8 rosette die-namic and some stars from the stacking stars die-namic.  I felt if I added anything more to the front of this card, it may be too overwhelming.  Some pretty gingham ribbon and de-lish lilac twine finished her off.
Well.....almost. I had to get one of the fabby sentiments in, on this card somewhere. Look inside, it coordinates. I stamped it out one the layered label and sweet stack die-namics (love how you can mix and match most of the label dies MFT carries). A few more stars and this one is done!

Kim's Blog has the full teaser line up for today's posts. I can't wait to see what the DT has done with this cutie!

MFT....à la mode Teaser no.2

Hey, now.  You're an All Star. Get your're game on go play. Allll that glitters is gold!.....are you singing it? Can you hear it??? Don't hate me but I've been singing that song all weekend as I played with this stamp set.

Yep, this card took me allll weekend to finally put together. It had to be worked in stages thanks to my booty-kickin' cold I had. YUCK! But I'm feeling better and now I'm playing nurse to my two little guys who are under the weather. Okay, so you came here to see the goods! I've got 'em!

MFT has two new à la modes being released tonight at 10pm along with the VIP kit! Here's a peek at the second cool chica! She's sportin' a flag and some cool sports attire! LOVE her. She's a natural paired up with the stacking stars die-namic and the star border die, too. I put some of that yummy Camp Fire dp to work by Oct. Afternoon. LOVE the playfulll colors and all those stars.

You'll also spy a baby braddie and some striped twill ribbon. The All Star à la mode is stamped on the x-press blending cs and colored with copics. I did up two of the flags and cut one out and popped it up with a foam dimenional to add more interest. Like it?
Since I used a dark cs I also made the inside pretty with more paper, and one of the layers from the Layered Lables die-namics and some more stars. It's the perfect spot to write your own little message!

Head on over to Kim's blog-o! She's got the line up for today's teaser posts. Thanks for stopping by.

Something's Fishy......MFT à la Mode Teaser no.2

Today we've got another fabulous à la mode to share with you. This one totally speaks to me. I Looooove the fishie (we are a fishing kind of family) and I LOOOOOVE the sentiments that go with this set. The sentiment I used today is my FAVE.

DH  has been on my case lately, cuz honestly, I use this word a lot and now the boys are picking up my bad habit.   I  hate when they say it.  To them it's a bad word, but I can't stop using it myself.  You know, that ol' double standard. It's a bad habit, bad, bad habit....but I like the word and compared to some other choice words I could be using, it's really not all that bad, right?! LOL! I'm soooo glad it's part of this set.

So, I took the liberty to use it today and it was completely appropriate for this card which I'm sending to a friend who's husband lost his job.

I used the daity dots die-namic on this one and once again stamped my image on the X-Press It Blending cs.  The dp is by Bella Blvd (aren't those fishies just the cutest?!) and the yummy green cs is by MFT it's the Jellybean color. Don't let the picture fool you, it looks like a forest green, but to me it's a dark olive green. I really like it. I finished the card off with some stickles glitter accents to the fish-it's nice and sparkly!

Head on over to Kim's Blog. She's got all the details and the full list of Teaser Posts for today. See you back here tonight for the MFT VIP blog hop! 10pm EST.

New à la Modes....Tease Time!

It's almost time for our My Favorite Things VIP package (tomorrow night!) and that means we've got 2 more CUTE, and I mean CUTE, à la modes being released.  This line of stamps keeps getting better and better!

Up first is the new Oh, Baby! set. I'm so happy to say I know a few people preggers right now, so I've got the perfect stamp to use on their cards. This one is for my friend, Tanya. She's a scrapbooker at heart but TOTALLY loves when I give her cards. I'm thinking I need to order her this stamp set as part of her gift. What a great accent this will make on pages, too!
My favorite part is the giant bow on the bear. You'll see along the hop, how cool it is to customize this part of the stamp.  It's super easy to paper piece. I used some Jillibean Soup dp for the bow and if you look close there are some alpha letters impressed into the blue cs. The à la mode is stamped on X-press Blending cs and I couldn't resist some customized buttons thanks to the button quartet die-namics.  If you struggle with the large button holes (I did, just didn't like the look of all that extra space).... try doubling up some twine to thread through the holes. I LOVE the look! Card base is the wonderful, Whip Cream cs that MFT carries.
Layout is Jen's,  ASFYTT.  I'm sure to play along this year and will have an easier time keeping up with the once a month sketch. Thanks for the change, Jen.

à la mode....Key to My Heart!

It's day two of our à la mode teasers and this is another set you won't want to miss out on. She's called Key to My Heart and you can add her to your cart tonight with the VIP kit.

These fun, flirty and fabulous girls:
  • Each set is produced in the USA using the highest quality rubber, with the deepest etch possible.
  • Each image and sentiment is backed on cling foam and scroll cut, making it ready for stamping right out of the bag!
  • Packaged in a clear hang bag, we've also provided the ideal storage solution by including a thick laminated header card in each set that can be used to store the stamp set, in its entirety, after purchase.
I used a great Go-to-Sketch from PaperCrafts magazine and some yummy My Mind's Eye dp (Animal Crackers girl line) and I just couldn't resist some warm fuzzy hearts cut with MFT felt and Hearts A Plenty die-namics. I colored this cutie on X-Press Blending cs with copics and pieced her dress with some coordinating dp. She finished off with a sweet bakers twine bow and key charm!

à la mode Monday.....Cheers!

We've got new stamps coming, tomorrow night! It's almost VIP time and that means it's also time for the release of 2 new à la modes! Today we get to give you some looksies at the the super cute party girl from the set, Cheers! It's just in time for the New Year celebrations and any other event you'll be celebrating this year. I actaully did her up for a gifty to give to my girlfriend at her Girls Only Holiday party!!! I knew she would look fabulous on a tag for a bottle of the bubbly. I used some black ruffled ribbon and the small scallop die-namics to do her up right. I had fun coloring her with copics and adding some crystal stickles glitter to her glass of bubbly!

After I finished that, I thought it would only be fitting to add a little gift card with the bottle of bubbly. So I used the same papers and ribbon and added the Cheers! sentiment right next to a rolled rose die-namics flower.
Make sure you hop on over to Kim's blog at 11 am (EST) for the full line up of teaser posts today. Tomorrow we've got another à la mode to share AND tomorrow night is the VIP! You don't want to miss it!

Once again, it's a 2 post Tuesday! Up first is a looksie at the second MFT à la mode being released this month. {ippity} release post is coming up next.

If you haven't added any of the à la modes to your stamp collection, this is the month. I'm telling you-treat yourself to one or more of these cuties.
  • Here's the 411 on these fun, flirty and fabulous girls:

  • Packaged in a clear hang bag, we've also provided the ideal storage solution by including a thick laminated header card in each set that can be used to store the stamp set, in its entirety, after purchase.

Today's à la mode is called
Take Time!

I was inspired by the clock and decided to make a circle card. Love these and they are quick and easy to make. Once again, I used the Fossil cs. Yeah, I know, shocker, right?! LOL! I played up the greens from the Restoration dp and that gave me the perfect reason to use some of that striped twill ribbon! And look, I finally used a full strip of it to tie up a cute felt -button combo! Die-namics used today are the little open scallop

and the Perfect Petal trio.

See you back here tonight for the VIP Blog Hop! Wait till you see what THIS month's package contains-WOW! Don't miss out!

Post no.1-MFT à la Mode Time!

I told you this week was going to be full of excitement. Not only is it the {ippity} new release week, it's also time for MFT à la modes (2 new ones) and the VIP package. Woooohooo!!! Please be sure to check back for my {ippity} post!

Right now I've got another new cutie from the à la mode line up.
This one is called Here's the Story!
She's made her way to the top of my list. Looks how fabulous she is sitting on top of that pile of books.

Hey, guess what's back in stock at MFT???? Yep, that sweet Doily die-namics! You must have this die, there is just so much you can do with it and it really can dress up any card or scrapbook page. I used some Oct. Afternoon Thrift Shop dp and some espresso grosgrain with that doily piece cut from Fossil cs.
I couldn't resist once again doing up the inside of a card (and I used a dark cs base-perfect excuse to make it pretty on the inside!). I am totally diggin' the faux crochet border die-namics, the fact that it matches the doily die, make it a no brainer to use together! More of the same paper a heart and a few pearls-and it's complete!

Here's the 411 on these fun, flirty and fabulous girls:

  • Each set is produced in the USA using the highest quality rubber, with the deepest etch possible.

  • Each image and sentiment is backed on cling foam and scroll cut, making it ready for stamping right out of the bag!

  • Packaged in a clear hang bag, we've also provided the ideal storage solution by including a thick laminated header card in each set that can be used to store the stamp set, in its entirety, after purchase.

I think Miss you A Latte is back in stock ;) ) Right now I've got a sneaky peeky of the other à la mode releasing tonight. This one is called What's Cooking? I was inspired by my Winter Mitten dp and the sweet rolled roseI had done up a few weeks ago. This sweet, sugary (thanks to Glitzy Glitter) purple rose has been sitting on my desk just waiting to make it onto a card. Today was the day. I also used the Jumbo Ric Rac die-namics die on this cutie.

Come on back tonight (10 pm EST) for the VIP Blog Hop and some shopping! Kim's got the full teaser line up on her blog. Check it out around 11 am EST.

à la Mode Teaser Time

Soooo, have you added any of these new cuties to your collection yet? What are you waiting for??? I am head over heals for these new stamps by MFT. They are called à la Modes and they are actually rubber stamps mounted on cling mount. This month there are 2 new ones joining the already adorable line up in the Boutique.
First up is called Must be Love. I used up a scrap of some pretty 7 gypsies dp I had in my scrap basket. Love that the lace was already on the dp. I kept the card fairly CAS and added a Heidi Swapp ghost heart (GASP!!! it was my last one!!!!) It was hard to part with it, but I knew it was perfect with this card. I also added a sweet scallop edge to the top with the small scallop die-namics die, and tied on a bit of princess ribbon in white.
