Reverse Confetti/ Release Day

Whoohoo!! It's Release Day! I'm so excited to see you all get these awesome products into your hands. All the new release products can be found HERE.  I can't wait to see what you add to your craft stash.....but before you shop, you might want to take one last look at what the team had created.

I am so giddy about this stamp set. I LOVE this Big Bear and all the bits and pieces that come along with him. My favorite part is the cut marks around his hands (so YES!! get the coordinating Big Bear Confetti Cuts with this set, for sure!! You'll be sad you don't have it, if you don't.). He can hold ALL the THINGS!! Brilliant!

I started this card with some ink blending with Piggy Bank and Rose inks. I masked off the bottom edge of the Polar White card stock and lightly blended up with the colors. I then stamped the heart duo in Midnight ink and stamped the sentiment along the bottom. I love the crisp line the masking tape created, allowing my sentiment to stand out without having to add any layers. I colored up Big Bear and his dog with copics and used the Big Bear Confetti Cuts to cut them out. Oh, and I paper pieced his scarf with the polka dotted paper from the From Cupid pad. I added them to the card front with some foam dimensionals. I tucked in a Edge Essentials border in Stormy card stock to the top and bottom of my panel. The card base was covered with a fun striped pattern from the From Cupid 6x6 paper pad. A few clear sequins finish off the card.

Reverse Confetti/ Countdown Day 2

Welcome back! It's day 2 of the Countdown to Confetti. If you missed the fun that started yesterday, be sure to scroll down to see what I created with the new release products. We have more great things to share today. It's Dawn Machel Day and that always makes me super excited!!

Above is our COUNTDOWN TO CONFETTI SCHEDULE and here are a few more details to know about this week's happenings:
In addition to having a chance to win just by leaving a comment on the sneak peek posts, we are also running a Facebook promotion.  After you are done checking out the sneak peeks, head on over to OUR FACEBOOK PAGE and look for this graphic pinned to the top of our feed…

Today we have two great stamp sets being shared. They are called Big Bear and  Heart Pals. I created my first tall card with all  the critters from Heart Pals. I love the size of these cards (Heather did a video tutorial on this size card), it allows for great scene building space and I was able to use all the images on one card.

I started by ink blending some Distress inks onto  a piece of Polar White card stock. I then embossed some of the teeny hearts from the Heart Pals set onto the background. I finished the backdrop with the sentiment stamped in Midnight ink along the top and added some white splatter. I then set the panel aside to dry.

I then got busy coloring up all the adorable Heart Pals with my Copic markers. I used the Heart Pals Confetti Cuts to cut each of the  critters out. I also colored up two of the heart duos. I'll share a closer look of each of the cuties, starting from the top of the card. The stacked hearts are from the XOXO Hearts Confetti Cuts

Here is the middle critters of the card details

And the bottom of the card. The two critters holding the heart together is my favorite of the bunch. I just love how this all came together. If you have not tried a tall card, give it a try. It's a lot of fun to work with a new size "canvas".

Here is the list to hop along with.
Join me and come see all the beautiful projects from the  team.

One more day of Countdown day until release day.
Join me again tomorrow. See you there.

One Last one-RC Valentine Mouse

I know, I know....Valentine's Day was yesterday. It's time to move on, but why??? I'm happy to spread the love any day. Here is one last card I made for the holiday. Isn't that mouse just the cutest?? It is from the Mouse Mail stamp set and I used the coordinating Mouse Mail Confetti Cuts to cut him out after I colored him up with Copics.

I used a trio of Reverse Confetti Premium Dye inks to sponge on color for my little scene. I cut the circle with the Boo To You Confetti Cuts and then sponged on some Wisteria ink and Mist ink, to make the purple moon. I added some tiny hearts with the Mailbox Starter Confetti Cuts.  The grass was created with Cloud White card stock and the Nuts about You Confetti Cuts and then sponged on some Pistachio ink and blended in some Seafoam ink. It is fun to customize colors with the array of colors from the Reverse Confetti ink line up.

The sentiment is from the Heart Felt Sentiments and I stamped it with my favorite black ink, Midnight. So crisp. So clean. Every time.

I looove, love LOVE these new heart balloons. The stamp set is called Love You More  and the coordinating dies are called Love You More Hearts & Balloons. I used the dies to cut the Love You 6x6 paper pack.

I added them to the top of some watercolor paper that I ran through my Vagabond with the Tribal Chic Cover Plate. Oh, how I love that die. I stamped a sentiment and some random hearts from the Love You More set

I love this next one for the white on white and pop of color from the white embossed Filled Heart stamp set. I added color with my Zig Clean Color markers and then cut out the heart with the Dual Stitched Heart & Kisses word die set.

I used one of the quilted stitched cover plates and then added an Anytime Tag for a beautiful rounded layer to add my water colored heart. I tied on a bit of bakers twine for an easy embellishment.

So excited about this month's release from Lil' Inker Designs. We have 3 fun filled days planned for you and today is the final day of our hop. All the new products are available NOW in the store, but you might just want to check out all the goodness first! the designs team has done a beautiful job with all the projects. The fun all starts over on the LID Blog, be sure to begin there. Hopefully you arrived from Lea Lawson's blog

Yesterday I brought you some coffee and today I thought a little sunshine would be great! The temps here in the Midwest are certainly teasers as we are in the mid 50's! Yes! Love it. I would love to wish you all Sunshine and Smiles! The re-designed Sunshine Sentiments was the perfect greeting to add to this card.

I did some water coloring in the background as I cut a piece of water color paper with the Silly Stitched Die. I also used that die to cut out a white piece of card stock and then used the Border Builders die to make the scalloped cloud effect. I love that die. I then cut out a water colored  Large Sunshine die.

Up next is a sweet little baby tag with another new re-designed stamp set. I combined a couple sentiments from Pinwheel Sentiments to make the greeting for this tag.

I used the Mini Pinwheel Die and added it to the paper straw for a fun accent to my tag. I love the Anytime Tag die, it looks great with everything.

Here is a closer look at the new products I used today.
