Reverse Confetti Sneak Peeks {day 1} And Sweet Sunday Sketch

Loads of fun here on my blog today. Lucky you....it's a two-fer day. It's the New Year, Hello 2014, and the Sweet Sunday Sketch team is here EVERY WEEK. Yep, Karen decided she wanted to give you more, so there will be a new sketch to play along with each Sunday. We are starting the new year off with few new members and saying good-bye to a few of our team mates as well.
It's also the beginning of the new Release Sneak Peeks for Reverse Confetti!!! We are gearing up for the season of love and I know you are going to LOOOOVE everything releasing this month. We have three days of peeks and then Release Day is Jan.8! Remember 8 is great!!!

Let's jump in. My first card uses the current Sketch For You To Try . It was perfect to show off this A-dorable new image from RC. Ready.....all you coloring fans are going to squeal, I'm just warning you!!! Please meet the first of Quirky Cuties-Frieda Fox!!!

I am in love. I stamped her on x-press blending cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored her up with my Copics. Ahhhhhh! I was in need of some coloring therapy. There are beautiful sentiments in this set, and the glasses....are optional. It is it's own stamp.

Here are the markers I used to color up this sweet fox.

How about a few detail shots? This one shows off the great heart dies that are part of the Love Notes Confetti Cuts dies. The die set is awesome and included these hearts and the pretty scalloped frame that Freida is mounted on. Scalloped edges and a fabulous embossed detail around the center. It's a must have!

See the heart pattern on the Spearmint card stock? It's a new background set, called Whole Lotta Hearts. I can't put it down!! You'll see....I think I use it on every sneak peek I have created this release.

Another shot of the scallops. BUT wait....the pink panel....that's ANOTHER new Confetti Cut. Jen is adding a double edge, two sizes, scallop border called Double Edge Scallop Border. One die, two sizes....fabulous for your pocket book AND all your crafty projects.

My next card uses this week's  Sweet Sunday Sketch. I'm also showing off another new set releasing from Reverse Confetti on the 8th. It's called Paper Crane. I think it's such a unique set with gorgeous sentiments. This is my FAVORITE.

I added some pretty hearts from Whole Lotta Hearts stamp set in Insulation Pink ink. I stamped the sentiment right over top with some Regal Rose ink. It's accented with a trio of pretty buttons.

The row of arrows are included in the Paper Crane stamp set

Here is the Sweet Sunday Sketch:

Be sure to check out Karen's Blog with all the challenge details. Remember, you only have a week to play along. A new sketch will be up next Sunday. Here is the Sweet Sunday Sketch Team.

Day 5 -MFT March Teasers {welcome Spring}

Welcome to the weekend edition of the March MFT Teasers. Today we get to share the fun and fabulous Doodle Garden Stamps that will be releasing on Tuesday night. They are as sweet as ever! The sets are called: Party Time and Fluttering By.

I used the Fluttering By stamp set....her hair was calling my name to be be colored! Gosh, I love these girls. It's no surprise that I used the new BLUEPRINTS 1 DIE-NAMICS here, too. Having those sketches on hand, really makes for a quick card making session. Especially when I spent so much time coloring her.

Here are the Copic Markers I used today.

I used some new papers from Crate Paper-Maggie Holmes 6x6 pack as my inspiration. I love the deep turquoise stripes and then the vibrant blues, yellows, and pinks in that floral pattern. I ended up using MFT Cotton Candy card stock as my card base.

Here you can see a close up of my FLUTTERING BY  gal. I added a touch of sparkle by adding some of the Rock Candy Distress glitter to her wings and antenna.

I told you yesterday I CANNOT wait for Spring to arrive. So I welcoming it with open arms and my sentiment says so. I split the sentiment up and added one word to two of the tags from the BLUEPRINTS 1 DIE-NAMICS. It's all tied on with some Hemp Twine and a pink brad from my stash.  I stamped the words in the Blue Raspberry ink......LOVE the MFT inks :)

A Challenging Challenge

The sketch challenge over at SCS really had me fighting with this card today. I love the sketch but I think I made at least 5 changes to this card before it felt right. I used some of the Basic Grey, Phoebe paper again since it was still on my desk (notice a theme here, yes, I haven't cleaned my stamping space in a while!) I also used some yummy satin May Arts ribbon. Layered up my punches again-round tab and scallop circle. The butterfly is from the set, Time Well Spent. I colored it in with my Copics ( my other 14 finally arrived today-yippee!!) and then made her all sparkly with some Stardust stickles. Here is a close up of the detail. To finish the card I added some white dots with my gel pen to the scallop circle and balanced the top right with some of my dew drops. I'm lovin' the fun, girly colors!
Check back tomorrow for a look at what we are doing at my first official downline meeting. I got my third recruit last week and the four of us are getting together to stamp tomorrow afternoon. I can't wait!
Hugs,

Limited Supplies

You know how I love the different challenges on SCS and a whole lot of other blogs, so many I can't keep up. I have to remind myself that I don't have to do them all, it is just for fun and a place to start for inspiration. This week I decided to try the Limited Supplies challenge over at SCS. This was a first for me, but it was fun. The challenge was to create 3 cards with all the same supplies but use 3 DIFFERENT layouts, plus you had to use HPH and ribbon. I know, I know, I was supposed to post a picture of that last scrapbook layout from the Summer Days kit, but my new toys (yes, my beloved Copics )dictated how I stamped today (and that in itself was a challenge since my colors are so limited). Here is the trio! Check out My Gallery for pics of each of the individual cards. Have a great weekend!

Here's one for Crystal

Here's another quick post, we're off to T-ball, but my good friend and stamp-shopping cohort, Crystal has been bugging me (in a nice, excited way) to get a card uploaded made with my new Copic markers. Yes, I did it, I caved and actually bought some. They are everything I expected! I had to place orders with two different online stores to find the colors I wanted in stock. I got my first 12 markers yesterday. This was my first image I colored and I think it turned out pretty good if you don't look too close at Billy's hair line. LOL! My colors are limited until my other 14 markers show up here hopefully next week. So here it is Crystal, just for you! Thanks for all your enabeling!
