Thanks-Final Deconstructed Sketch

I was so bummed when I read Jen's announcement about her ending The Deconstructed Sketch. It was probably one of the very first challenges outside of Splitcoast Stampers that I played along with. Even though I may not have always played along, her sketch was also the one I checked out each week. Those sketches are top notch! So when I read this was her final one, I HAD to link up. I wish her all the best!

I used all Reverse Confetti stamps and dies on this card. I used the Tag me die and embossed the greeting from Circle Sentiments with white embossing powder.

I used Petals 'n Posies to layer up a pretty flower and tucked in a few leaves from Love Blooms.

Here is the final sketch. Be sure play along, link up and tell Jen what a great run her sketch challenge has been.

 Thanks, Jen.....That was Awesome! I had tons of fun.

Hello {color throwdown and Deconstructed Sketch}

Some days a quick and simple card is just what the creative mind needs. I took a break from some DT work to play with the Color Throwdown and The Deconstructed Sketch. I loved them both and I pulled out my Reverse Confetti products from the latest release.

I have been saving this Pina Colada Quick Card Panel. It's my FAVE of the pack. I cut the circle from Circles 'n Scallops confetti cuts and layered on the Hello confetti cut. I cut three of the words and layered them on top of each other.

You can see the three layers I adhered together in this shot. I also added a few accents with the Shakers 'n Frames confetti cuts. Those sweet little hearts are part of that Confetti Cut set.

I'm linking this up the the Color Throwdown no.338

Here is the sketch I used for this card.

Here is a closer look at the products I used today.

Hope your Wenesday is going great! See you back here soon!

Catered Crop and Sweet Thanks

Please Scroll Down for my Reverse Confetti New Release Blog hop post. It's full of some new RC goodies. I felt a little guilty because I didn't show off a card with the new Donut You Know stamp set and matching dies and I think it's just the cutest. I decided to work up a sweet sugary thank-you card for the current Catered Crop Recipe Swap challenge-Attitude of Gratitude

I used the current Deconstructed Sketch for my layout. The Tag Me die was cut in half and I added a small strip of Grout Gray to extend the tag to make it a little longer.

I used the Double Edge Scallop border to tuck in a little row of small scallops following the sketch. The senitment is stamped in Soft Navy ink. Papers are from Pink Paislee Solstice.

For my donut, I gave the brown frosting topper die cut piece a thin coating of liquid adhesive and then sprinkled on some rock candy distress glitter. I then used the tiny star confetti die included in the Donut You Know confetti cut set to finish it off.

Here is a closer look at the new products from Reverse Confetti.

Curtain Call Reminder {anything goes and still time to play}

There is still time to join us for the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Anything Goes!  You have until July 25th at 8:00 AM CDT to be inspired and share your project!

I have another card to share. I played up more of the white space and aqua color. I was also inspired by the large letter "c". I used an MFT Die-namics to die cut letters to spell out the word happy.

Soooooo  many prizes to be had. Just come to play along.

I needed a birthday card for a friend, a guy, so as much as I wanted to use the pink from the inspiration photo, I went with some yellow, navy, and gray with the aqua. The word "happy" is from Happy Birthday Die-namics. I cut each letter 3 times and stacked them up to give the dimension I was looking for. The "birthday" sentiment is from Birthday Sentiments

I added a balloon duo from Party Balloons and a few enamel dots. The stitched rectangle frame is from Lil' Inker Designs ( I hear they are back in stock.....run and get yours!).

I'm linking this up to the Deconstructed sketch this week. Here 's the layout.

Current challenge details and link-up for Curtain Call are here

Come Play along.

Deconstructed 140-Let's get Lost

I have been a busy little crafty bee preparing for the upcoming Reverse Confetti release. After a full day of card making,  I was lucky to have a whole extra hour to myself this evening to make one more. I rarely EVER get the house to myself in the evenings.

There is a new Catered Crop Challenge up-Safe Travels. I had fun with some of my travel themed stamps and dies in my stash.

I made a scrappy lovey card using this week's Deconstructed Sketch no. 140.  It started with the Skyline Die-namics ( all links below),  a Circle Stax Die-namics and the Open Scallop Doily die. The rest came together quickly.

The tag is from the Tag Me Confetti Cut dies and the large heart is from the Love Note dies, both by Reverse Confetti.  The sentiment is stamped in Midnight Muse ink from the Enjoy the Journey stamp set.

Here's the sketch. I went ahead and mounted it onto a 4.25 inch square card base. I love making these sized cards, because they still fit in my A2 envelopes for mailing.

Here is the link again to Linda's Catered Crop-Safe Travels Recipe Swap. I sure hope you'll check it out and see what the rest of the team has done.

 The round up will be posted on Saturday. In the mean time....join us for the fun!
