Its not all old in Utrecht
If you are now arriving at the new rebuild train station in Utrecht ( the biggest in the country)
You have to do your best to find your way to the city

Not much place
to clean the sewers along the canals. In earlier days (until 1972) that were the sewers in some parts of town.

I still remember the smell.
Found this oldie searching for a mural. Its around the corner of my former work looking from Bickers isle to Prinsen isle and the shipyards for canal boats are all disappeared as to toxic for the eco norms of today. I think that the photo is made 15 years ago.
