A few weeks ago it was time again for a big photographical event and sales fair of second hand equipment.

Camera's were tested and switched hands.

One of the nicer things is the hassle over the price.

A friend of mine took 20 minutes to lower a price from €25 to 20 but both participants enjoyed it very much.

Then boosting about it.

and no they are not all men who know this trick.

In the end you are very tired, want to sit, but has something what you really like.

To inform you I got away with 2 photo books. One from Ed v.d. Elsken called Jong Nederland ( one of the more rare examples of his books) for €10,- and Bliss a collection from postcards collected by Martin Parr. No photo equipment this time because I really don't know what I can use anymore.

Sometimes I am tempted to buy an Hasselblad or something like that for a real absorbingly low price but I know already that I won't use it and it will only collect dust in a house that is already to filled with photo equipment.

Last Sunday was the semi-annual photografica fair in the Netherlands and if possible I go there for who knows what but always a pleasure to visit.

I am always wondering what people put in their bags. In this case I think this bag is also just bought . Very stylish.

You can never have to much bags so its also nice to look for that bag that you still miss.

( I admit I have now to many bags but cannot bring myself up to put some away)

Twice a year we have a big collecting fair in Utrecht. There you can exchange or buy every conceivable thing you can imagine. I still have a little collection of some slides and calculators as seen above.

and have used them in the early days of my profession. As the black one before the printed sheet on the first photo. It could multiply, divide and making cubic content calculations. Of course there is a lot of other stuff (photo impressions). You name it and it is there.

This year it is held at 12 and 13 April here.
