 Was quite surprised yesterday when this showed up at the door for work on a neighbor's house 2 houses away. The crane only just fit into the street.

 The red building in the middle was the architect office where I worked for 27 years and the building right (a former grain silo) was transformed into an apartment building by the architect I worked before I went here also for a year of 10. Today there is only one floor for architects and the rest is for journalists and ad makers. All to see for free with a little trip with the ferry from central station to the K.N.S.M. area.

 Maintenance on Brewer's Canal

 It is very muddy here at the moment and this at a time when the Dutch government is about to announce its plans for the coming year.

 Our neighbors are replacing the roof of their shed which is in need of a renewal after 44 years. ( The header is a view over the "Zoutkeets Canal")

 The asphalt of the street opposite us is being repaired. First a crack is cleaned with hot air where all the dirt is burned and blown away and it makes the asphalt soften. The second worker fills the crack again with hot repair asphalt using a spray lance and the third smooths it. Does come with a lot of hissing but it goes pretty fast.
