Molen de Gooyer has been a corn mill since the 16th century and has stood at various locations in the city. In 1841, it ended up at this location on Funenkade.

The mills of Weesp
Seesaw flour mill "'t Haantje" from 1820
and flour mill "de Vriendschap" rebuild in 1900 after the previous mill burned down in 1899. It is still in use and on Saturday you can buy bread baked with the flour from this mill on the spot. Behind this mill stands another one "de Eendracht" a malt mill from 1691 looking the same as this one but rebuild as saw mill. One for Our World Tuesday here.
