In the city museum of modern art in amsterdam are a few places were it is not completely clear if it is art or a children's playground. This one I dedicate for rubbish tuesday here.
Here were also some kids playing and climbing on the waves while the mothers are watching. I dedicate this one to ruby tuesday too here.
On one day in the week the people living along the canals can put their coarse dirt at the side of the pavement.
Officially it is forbidden but for students still a nice way to find some furniture for their student rooms. You would be amazed what there is to find for the real bargain hunter.
Don't park your folding bike this way in Amsterdam. Its disappeared in 2 seconds. Lucky for the owners this is Leeuwarden. There it is still possible by the look of it. One for Rubbish Tuesday here although I am aware that this is not really junk .
This shed contains a complete cooperage for making wine barrels. Remains outside.
Inside you find all the tools of the trade.
Also part of the exhibition on the "Zaanse Schans" how the people lived in the "Zaanstreek". The early technological centre of the Netherlands before the arriving of steam and electricity.
